10000 Wonders Multimax Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
I’ve already mentioned the previous 10,000 slot from ReelPlay that we’ve reviewed, but as these are linked to the developer’s 10k Ways series of slots, you might want to take a look at a few of those. It’s time for the payouts next, and on the reels of the 10,000 Wonders Multimax slot, there are 10 regular paying symbols, cash prize scatters that can trigger the main bonus, and wilds that substitute for all regular paying icons when winning combos are possible. Multimax Cascading Reels
Like a regular cascading reels mechanic, winning symbols disappear, and more fall onto the gaming grid from above. However, the Multimax mechanic that works in conjunction with the cascades could lead to multiplied wins.
There is a Multimax Multiplier above each reel, and on every base game spin, these start at 1x. Whenever the Temple Symbol lands, it will increase the multiplier of the reel it’s on by 1x. Before a cascade after a winning combination is created, a Temple Symbol is added to the reels in one of the empty positions created by the winning combo. The multiplier values of any reels a winning combination is created are added together and applied to the combo’s regular payout.
10000 Wonders Multimax Slot Bonus Features
Unlike the 10,000 Wonders 10k Ways slot that preceded this release, which had a free spins bonus, ReelPlay has gone for a Hold & Win-style bonus game for 10000 Wonders Multimax. It triggers when at least 6 Lamp symbols appear anywhere in view during a base game spin.
Bonus Re-spins Feature
The triggering Lamps carry over to a new reel matrix and are locked in position. You receive 3 re-spins, and each time a new Lamp lands in a vacant position, it’s also held for the duration of the bonus, and your re-spins are reset back to 3. If Temple symbols land, they again increase the multiplier of their reel by 1x, but this time, those values will not reset between spins.
The Lamps that land on the reels can reveal one of the following prizes or bonuses:
- Non-Bonus Prizes: Between 1x and 100x the stake.
- Red Diamond Prizes: 10x the stake.
- Pink Diamond Prizes: 50x the stake.
- Green Diamond Prizes: 250x the stake.
- Blue Diamond Prizes: 2,000x the stake.
The feature continues until you run out of re-spins or when you fill all vacant positions with symbols and win 10,000x the stake.
Bonus Buy
You can purchase the free spins bonus with 0-3 multiplier upgrades round outright for 50x the current stake. Alternatively, you can buy the bonus with between 3 and 6 upgrades or 6 and 10 upgrades for 75x or 100x the current stake, respectively. Each upgrade will increase the multiplier of a random reel by 1x.

10000 Wonders Multimax Slot Review Final Thoughts
I’ve never been much of a fan of the 10k Ways slots from ReelPlay, as usually they’re very similar. Although, technically, this is not a 10k Ways title, it does at least offer quite a few differences from what we’ve seen before. The Multimax mechanic is a solid addition, too, and the 34,213x max win is over three times more than any other 10,000/10k Ways slot in the ReelPlay portfolio. For those reasons, it's worth a bit of spin time to see what you make of it.
