Born in the UK in 1978 in Kent, Jim has travelled the world, living in the US, South Africa, Greece, and Thailand. He is an avid football fan, supporting his local team, Gillingham, and plays regularly. He is also a casual slot and a poker player.

After finishing college, Jim went on to follow a career path in shipping and logistics before changing his career path to IT after becoming a Microsoft Certified Engineer. He worked for large blue-chip firms in oil and gas and IT as a disaster recovery risk analyst at companies such as Schlumberger and IBM.
When the 2008 stock market crash hit, Jim lost his passion for IT, took voluntary redundancy, and decided to become an English teacher in Asia.
His passion for the English language led him to content creation. He began with typical IT and digital marketing content before finding his niche in online casino content, which is now his speciality.
