Best Slot Providers

With over 10,000 games available and more than 100 slot providers actively designing and releasing content daily, it can be quite a challenge for players to determine which gaming studios are the best. However, we are here to assist you by utilising the data from our platform each month to share the most popular and best slot providers at Demoslot. Not only will we present the top 10 slot providers as decided by our users, but we will also give our thoughts on which developers we believe belong to the esteemed category of tier-one game developers.

The Top Online Slot Providers From Visitor Data

At the start of each new month, we will view the data from our site and list the top 10 best slot game providers from the previous month. These statistics are taken from the visitors to Demoslot, representing the most popular game providers on our free play site.

Best Casino Software Providers

We love watching the journey that our visitors take when they are navigating around the site, as it gives us a real understanding of what providers and games are currently hot amongst players. We also like to see how the opinions of our users differ from our own, as after all, favourite slots and developers can be very subjective and down to the absolute basics of whether you have won previously when gambling on a specific slot or title from a studio.

So, who makes our current list of Triple-A slot providers? Dig in to find out more below:

1. Hacksaw Gaming

Over the last 12 months or so, it really feels as though Hacksaw have turned a corner, and the overall production and entertainment levels of their games have increased massively. The release of Mayan Stackways was a real indication to us that this is a gaming studio on the rise, and although saying the sky is the limit is somewhat of a cliche, you get the impression the next 18 months could be huge for Hacksaw Gaming and maybe even see them reach the summit of being the best developer in the industry.

2. Elk Studios

We’ve been watching the progression of ELK on the site for the last 6 months, and having once sat in the 10th most popular position amongst players; they have now made their way into second. That’s where we have them too, and it really was a toss-up between themselves and Hacksaw for the top spot, as ELK has continued to produce high-quality releases for as long as we can remember. We strongly believe they will soon become more of a force in the industry as the standard of their games is, for the most part, absolutely outstanding, with Cygnus 3 currently their most-played game here at Demoslot.

3. Nolimit City

When you’ve produced classic slot titles like San Quentin and R.I.P Tombstone, it’s got to be hard to keep delivering games of that quality to players consistently. Personally, we feel that since Evolution bought out NLC and the number of slots being released each month has increased, the standard has ever so slightly slipped. But don’t get us wrong, this is still very much one of the leading studios in the industry with an incredibly talented bunch of individuals at their disposal, and after the release of Gluttony, it could well be that NLC finds itself back at the top of our list sooner rather than later.

4. Pragmatic Play

Whenever you browse the new slots section here at Demoslot, you’ll almost certainly find at least a minimum of three slots from Pragmatic Play. Yes, this is one of the most prolific studios for releasing new content, with some of it being absolutely brilliant and other games being, well, quite dreadful at times. It would appear that is the nature of the beast as far as Pragmatic is concerned though, and regardless of how we score their games individually, they always look great when it comes to the design and graphics side of things. In fairness, I think we would have positioned this studio a little higher, but the filler content they release does slightly let them down.

5. Push Gaming

We’ve long been fans of Push Gaming here at Demoslot, and although the standard of their slots may have dipped somewhat from previous years, a couple of solid releases have put them back on the map. One game that has continued to remain popular with us and site users is Retro Tapes, which we recommend you try if you haven’t given it a go already. Push is also responsible for some of the most iconic slots within iGaming, such as Jammin Jars and Razor Shark, so once the studio rediscovers its mojo, we anticipate them moving back up the site charts and ours too.

6. Relax Gaming

Few would argue Relax’s Money Train 3 is one of the best online slots ever to be created; although it could have some competition from Money Train 4, I think we would all agree. We were a little undecided about where to place Relax Gaming overall in our list as they have had a good run of releases which included their Money Train hits but also seem to have focused a lot of time on their Dream Drop series of games, which are not going to be suited for all players, as our user data suggests. This will surely be a blip though, with the provider likely to make a push for the top 3 by the end of the year.

7. Novomatic

Although nowhere to be seen in the user data, we are huge fans of Novomatic here at Demoslot, but this is down to the games we first used to play when gambling online. It just seemed impossible for us to create a list of the top slot providers and not include Novomatic in it when we have spent hours upon hours spinning the reels on some of their most classic games. If you’re new to this studio and want to trace our playing footsteps of old, then take a look at Book of Ra, Lucky Lady’s Charm and Dolphins Pearl, all of which are iconic land-based and online games from Novo.

8. Blueprint Gaming

The team here at Demoslot all originate from the United Kingdom, so we are very well acquainted with Blueprint and its legendary slots. None are probably more popular than the Fishin Frenzy Franchise, which has spawned a great collection of games for BP and influenced other studios to create games with similar mechanics. It would also be unfair not to mention Blueprint Gaming’s massive contribution to the Megaways niche of slots. They were the first provider to gain a license from Big Time Gaming to use the reel modifying mechanic and went on to produce some of the most played games to date in the Megaways genre.

9. Play’n Go

We were all extremely surprised to see the omission of Play’n Go from the user list when we dug into the stats, but much like our reasoning for positioning them further down the pecking order, we imagine players tire somewhat of the filler content they produce in mass numbers. Yes, they still create some outstanding games, but the number of misses compared to hits is slowly increasing, making a once great studio a shadow of its former self. Things can change quickly in the iGaming world though, and let’s hope more classics like Book of Dead and Rise of Olympus are not too far away.

10. Slotmill

Slotmill has slowly made its way onto our radar by producing some excellent slots with fantastic playability. They may currently be quite unknown amongst players, but as they obtain more licenses to distribute their games, we have a feeling they are a couple or maybe just one big slot away from putting themselves well and truly on the iGaming map. If you’ve yet to sample any of the games from this provider, head over to our dedicated Slotmill page, where you can access all their games for free.
