Just yesterday, I attempted to enjoy a couple of beers in a pub garden and spent most of my time shielding my prized pint from three bees that were hell-bent on having a taste. I checked my to-do list today and what do I find? A review of a slot themed on the pesky bar stewards, and not only that, they’re smiling at me as if they were the bees that were testing my patience the day before. The slot in question is Bumble Tumble from Relax Gaming, a 6×7 slot with a 94% RTp that offers up to 117,649 ways to win.
As the title suggests, Bumble Tumble is a slot centred around its tumble mechanic. Around half the symbols on a spin or blockers, which in this case are represented by Honeycomb. Winning combinations help to remove that honeycomb and, therefore, increase the ways to win. Along the way, wild symbols can land to convert a random number of those honeycombs into the same symbol type or wilds with multiplier values of up to 1,000x. Bumble Tumble Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
If you’ve read any of my reviews of bee-themed slots in the past, you’ve probably learned I’m far from this creature’s biggest fan. For some reason, however, they’re a relatively popular creature when it comes to slot themes. I’m not going to reel off a bunch of titles, as you can use the search filter above to find most, but there are a couple of our free slots that I’d recommend, and first of all, that’s Beelionaires Dream Drop, which happens to be from Relax Gaming as well. Why? Because at least you could win a life-changing sum of money as you’re swatting away at the reels. Secondly, the original Wild Swarm demo from Push Gaming is a brilliant game and one that can go crazy during the progressive feature if you get lucky.
Moving to the paytable on Bumble Tumble, and there’s not much to get excited about here. The payouts are on the smaller side, but that’s understandable, considering this is a cluster pays slot that could land you multiple wins from a single spin. The Queen Bee tops the rest with a 2x return for six in a row, and the King Bee delivers up to 1.2x. The Smiling Bee, probably the one in my beer garden, returns up to 1x, while the Hands On Hips Bee and Flying Bee are worth up to 0.8x and 0.6x, respectively. The low-paying symbols are the flowers, and the Red, Orange, Purple, and Blue variants all share a 0.4x max win.
The minimum/maximum available bets in Bumble Tumble have been set at €0.10 and €50.00, respectively. This is a more than adequate range of stakes for all players to try the game for real money if they fancy their chances.

While the Tumble Bumble slot can offer up to 117,649 ways to win across its 6-reel and 7-row configuration, for the most part, you won’t be playing with that many. That’s because many of the symbols that fall onto the reels during a spin are Honeycombs, which are blocker symbols. When three or more matching symbols land on consecutive reels, you’ll win a payout, while any adjacent honeycombs are destroyed. All icons involved in the combination disappear, and new symbols fall onto the reels, potentially creating further wins.
Honeycomb Mystery Symbols
Whenever wild symbols land on the reels during a base game spin or free spins, they can help create wins – but not just because of substituting for other symbols. In the base game, the wild will turn between 3 and 8 Honeycomb blockers into the same type of regular symbol or a wild multiplier with a value between 1x and 1,000x. During free spins, the wild does the same thing but with regular symbols instead of the honeycomb blockers. Furthermore, there’s a chance during free spins that the symbol will award an extra free spin.
Bumble Tumble Slot Bonus Features
Who isn’t buzzing when they trigger some free spins? Well, on the Bumble Tumble slot, the bonus game is actually called Buzzin Free Spins. These are triggered once you destroy all the Honeycomb blocker symbols on a regular base game spin, where six spins are then awarded.

Bumble Tumble Slot Review Final Thoughts
Relax Gaming is one of those slot developers usually renowned for creating slots with a plethora of bonus features, so I was surprised to find out Bumble Tumble doesn't have many of them at all. Sure, you have cascades and wilds that perform symbol transformations to add multipliers of up to 1,000x, but that’s about all we get. However, the slot looks great, and those multipliers can give a massive boost to payouts whenever they’re involved. To conclude, it's not one of my favourite releases from Relax Gaming this year, but I can see why some will enjoy its simplicity.
