It’s about time we had a slot themed around the good guys trying to solve crimes. I had a quick look at this a few hours before I sat down to review it, and I have to say, my first impressions are good. It’s well-designed and has a couple of interesting bonus features. Before I get into those, let’s clear up the basics: this is a 6×4 slot with 25 paylines and a 94% RTP.
With those out of the way, it’s time to investigate the bonus features of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. To start with, there’s a 10-spin cycle mechanic in play. What I mean is that target symbols can land and mark positions on the reels, and after every 10 spins, all those marked positions transform into wild symbols. It wasn’t uncommon for me to pick up 15 or more wild symbols when testing out this slot, so it’s certainly an interesting feature. On top of that, there is a free spins bonus with a collection meter mechanic that allows you to unlock levels with increased multiplier ranges that will apply to your total win at the end of the feature.

Csi: Crime Scene Investigation Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
There’s not a deluge of free slots online themed on solving crime, but there are a few out there if you’re into this sort of thing. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is an interesting slot and one that I’ll probably play a bit more over the coming days. The Target symbol feature provides something different during the base game, and once you trigger the free spins bonus, there is a chance to land a decent multiplier to apply to your winnings. It’s a good-looking slot, too, with plenty of cutscenes and animations.
