As for the gameplay, again, I was very impressed, especially as the base game doesn’t feel like just another boring pursuit of trying to activate a feature where all the potential is locked away.
I mentioned earlier that I love the Hi-Tech AWPs, and 5K Gold Mine Dream Drop gives off that vibe to me. It’s also very clever having a trail that can stop on high-paying or feature squares, with the player only needing to hit a collect symbol to land it. This is similar in a sense to how AWPs behave, where they stop a couple of positions short of the bonus trigger. It makes you think that you’re just one spin away from hitting something good, and in theory, you are.
