6 Rubies Of Tribute Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The title of this slot is somewhat ambiguous, and things do not become any clearer after looking at the paytable either! The symbols resemble totems, whilst the background appears to have several totem poles – a link, perhaps?! We’ve seen this kind of theme before in games such as the Aloha! Franchise by NetEnt and the look and feel of 6 Rubies of Tribute is quite similar overall, if perhaps slightly more serious.
We’ve already mentioned the jackpot prizes of 30x, 100x, and 1,000x your stake, but how about the regular paytable? Three scatters will pay you 1x your bet – the same amount the spin costs you – so it barely seems worthy of an inclusion, and you have to wonder why Old Skool Studios didn’t just allocate this small piece of RTP elsewhere. There are few surprises as far as the base game is concerned in 6 Rubies of Tribute; we have a 5×3 playfield with 25 fixed paylines, and all winning combinations require at least three matching symbols on a line starting from the left-hand side of the screen. It would have been nice to see a modifier or two included here, but Old Skool Studios have concentrated their efforts (and RTP!) on the two major bonus rounds, which seems like a reasonable trade.
Wild Rewind Modifier
This modifier only triggers after a non-paying base game spin. The wild power cells will send you back in time, re-spinning all the symbols around them and adding additional wilds to the screen until you hit a win. I managed to dodge a win six times whilst I was testing this game, eventually hitting a base game win of 81x my stake – not bad at all!
Fast Forward Modifier
This modifier works in the opposite way to the wild rewind; it only triggers after a winning base game spin and sends you forward in time! All your winning symbols will be upgraded, and the surrounding symbols will re-spin to give you a second chance at boosting the value of your winning combination.

Link & Win Feature
