Ancient Disco Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
You can’t really argue that Ancient Disco is anything but an Ancient Egypt-themed machine, even though it is vastly different to anything that I have seen before in the category! We have a whole section in our review library dedicated to Egyptian Slots such as Egyptian Fortunes, but I’m willing to bet that you can’t find anything even remotely similar to this game in there. It’s a brave developer who takes on such an established category, so it makes sense that Red Tiger has tried to make this machine as unique as possible.
Many classic Egyptian motifs appear on the paytable, but they sure look different to how you know them! The Sphinx will pay you 50x your bet for a full payline of five of a kind, followed by the Disco Scarab, which has a return of 25x for all five symbols. Yes, I did say ‘Disco Scarab’. A *very* cool-looking cat will pay you 12x your bet for a complete payline, whilst the final high-paying spot goes to an ancient cocktail jug with a return of 8x for all five symbols. There are four suitably neon royal symbols featured too, and these have returns ranging from 1.6x to 4x the bet for five-of-a-kind.
The betting range available in Ancient Disco is extremely low, signifying that this is a highly volatile game. The minimum wager of €0.10 won’t surprise anybody, but the maximum stake of just €4.00 may be a little small for the high rollers amongst you.
Base Game & Modifiers
Once you get past the introduction screens, you will find yourself looking at a crazy neon reel set with two speaker stacks adorning the left and right sides. The reel set itself contains five reels of three rows each, and there are 20 paylines available on which to score a win.
Ancient Disco Feature
Filling an entire reel or row with Ancient Disco scatters will increase the awards featured in the prize ladder for the following spin. The awards can be further boosted if more reels or rows are filled with symbols on the next spin.
The default prizes available in the ladder range between 5x the bet for six scatter symbols, topping out at 2,500x for the maximum of 15 symbols.

This is a really cool-looking slot, and whilst the feature set isn’t particularly new or unique, there are enough interesting twists and turns to make the game feel surprisingly fresh.
