Pros
- Wilds can land with multipliers of up to 100x.
- The wilds can merge to create full reel wilds with bigger multipliers.
- A high max win of 15,000x.
Cons
- Full reel wilds can merge in the free spins and give you less chance of winning.
- I didn't see many of the bigger value multipliers appear during testing.
Ancient Paws Slot Review Final Thoughts
Any slot game that features full reel walking wilds is always going to pique the interest of any player, so I was keen to see these in action on Bullshark Games Ancient Paws slot. I was pleasantly surprised that the wilds are not afraid to land either, in both the base game and the free spins bonus, although I must note the bigger values seemed a little scarce to appear.
Things were going quite well, and I thought it was a half-decent slot until the merging wilds started in the bonus round. Whilst this can be a huge plus, making smaller wilds into full-reel wilds with bigger multipliers, I was really disappointed when the game merged two full-reel wilds into one, adding their multipliers together. Prior to that, I was achieving a good win on every spin, to be then given one wild, which, yes, did have a big multiplier attached to it but never helped form a win afterwards.
To wrap up this review, I will say Ancient Paws is still worth some playing time, as the wilds do like to land, but the merging part grated on me, making me reluctant to visit this game for any real-money sessions.
