If you have never made an effort to explore the range of titles available in the crash game genre, likely, you’ll only be familiar with the very typical games such as Aviator, where an aeroplane flies into the distance before crashing to finish the round – that is where the genre gets its name, after all! The thing is, there’s much more to this area of casino gaming than meets the eye – even if you’re generally disinterested when it comes to simple gambling games, you may well find there’s a game or two that will be worthwhile taking a look at. Whilst this game definitely has a different feel to it compared to other crash games, the basic premise remains the same. The aeroplane has been replaced with a horse and cart, but each round still begins with the cart sitting at a standstill with a 1x multiplier. Those rounds also finish in much the same way – at some time during his run, the rider will make a mistake and crash his cart. If that happens before you have cashed out your wager(s), you’ll lose your bet. I remember thinking that the entire crash game “craze” was slightly ridiculous when a dozen or more showed up at various casinos and dedicated cryptocurrency gaming sites several years ago. After that, I basically forgot about the whole thing for a while – I didn’t think there would be any long-term future for this type of game as people soon grew tired of earlier crypto-gambling crazes such as Satoshi Dice. One thing that these games do have going for them in comparison to regular casino table games such as Blackjack is their “provably fair” aspect – the same technology used to secure cryptocurrency transactions against fraud can also be used to verify the authenticity of a gaming result, which can be quite significant for some players who aren’t necessarily convinced by the argument that regulation provides more than enough security for those playing casino games on the web.
Of course, the real question with any game based around gambling is “How much can I win?” and on that front, Crash games are amongst the most simple you can find. Every game starts with a zero return – a handful of them will finish that way too, as that is how the casinos make their money on this type of game. It sounds unfair, but it really isn’t any different to a slot machine returning a blank spin – it’s certainly possible that some players will have bigger bets down on a crash game compared to a single spin on a slot, but some games inevitably must have a loser… it’s just the nature of the beast, I’m afraid. For example, enabling only the first bet will use the entire amount for the one wager; playing both bets will divide the selected amount equally between them.
Base Game & Modifiers
Crash games desperately need a little something extra in the gameplay department to stand out nowadays. For example, one of my personal favourites is Cricket Crash, despite the fact that I have little to no interest in the sport itself!
Unfortunately, Bank Run sticks to the basic crash formula pretty much exclusively. There are no portals or other special features to look out for, so the reality is that this is nothing more than a fresh coat of paint on top of a years-old idea at this point.
Bank Run Crash Game Bonus Features
It doesn’t sound like much of a bonus feature, but the ability to cash out half of your winnings is really quite novel for a crash game, as far as I know! I’ve frequently complained that these simple gambling games offer no way to cash out a partial win, so finding one with such a feature is a bit of a treat – for me, anyway!
You’ll need to enable both bets to take advantage of the feature – when this is done, the game will offer a 50% Cashout option in the main play area. You can cash out your secondary bet at any time, even if you have set an automatic Cashout level, and the game constantly keeps you informed as to how much you will receive if you do. It’s only a small thing, but it’s a welcome inclusion that would make me choose this particular crash game over much of the competition.
High Score Table
Clicking on the trophy icon in the top-right corner of the game will open a leaderboard for the current month. This table lets you know how much other players have been winning, including a list of both cash values and multipliers. If you opt to play with a bet of at least €0.50, you will be entered into a prize draw for the current month. The player who cashes out closest to the final prize multiplier will win the jackpot for that month – the total prize fund is €7,777. If any player manages to hit with a multiplier of 777x, the developer will add €1,000 to the final prize.

Final Thoughts
As far as I’m concerned, there’s little reason to opt for a regular crash game when you can play this one and have a shot at a huge jackpot every month that you play! I do feel as if the terms and conditions aren’t explained as well as I would like, though, considering what is at stake, so do be sure that your chosen site is participating in the jackpot aspect of the game before you use that as a reason to play Bank Run. Apart from that, this is one of the most solid crash games we’ve seen in a while.
