You can always count on Hacksaw to bring some crazy slot action to the party, and they’ve certainly done that here with Beam Boys. The black, grey, and white graphic theme is complemented beautifully by the bright fluorescent colours of the laser wilds and character symbols. It’s a simple game, but the incorporation of those row-covering laser wilds really adds a great level of excitement, and the prospect of landing several of them on reel six and seeing a full screen of wilds is ever present in both the base and the bonus games. The two different volatility modes are also an interesting addition, although I didn’t personally notice much difference between the two during testing, and perhaps a second bonus feature adding another aspect, such as multipliers, would have been good to see, but I guess we can’t have it all! In summary, it is another very solid, entertaining game from a great provider.
