Game Overview

Before I got into slots, the only gambling I ever participated in was a weekly game of poker with my mates, something we enjoy from time to time, even now. There’s nothing like bluffing your mates and taking some of their hard-earned cash. While there are plenty of online poker sites where you can play the game, if you’re not the best of players, you can bet on the results of hand instead on BetGamesBet on Poker. It is a live dealer game with a difference, as you do not play the hands yourself, but on which hand you think will win and which of the hands in the poker rankings will become the winning hand. Bet on Poker has a 95% RTP and the maximum you can win from a hand is 250x the stake.

On Bet on Poker, you witness a 6-handed game of Texas Hold’em Poker dealt and played out by one of BetGames’ professionally trained dealers. Once the game starts, players can place bets on which hands they think will win or what the rank of the final winning hand will be. You can bet at any stage of the hand, and as the hand progresses and it becomes clear the statistical chances of each hand to win, the odds and payouts change dynamically between 1.01x and 250x the stake.

Sound like an interesting take on the popular game of Texas Hold’em, and want to see what it’s all about for yourself? Then we have you covered, as you can play the Bet on Poker demo version below.

If you’d rather have control over the hands in a poker game, there are plenty of RNG poker games you can play. We have the demo versions of a few of them here at Demoslot. The two that attract the most demo plays are the Habanero RNG games Caribbean Stud Poker and Three Card Poker. Both are different variations of poker compared to Texas Hold’em, but they use the same hand rankings to determine which is the best.

In terms of the payouts possible on Bet On Poker, these are not fixed. The odds for each hand are dynamically calculated as the game plays out. Once the live dealer has dealt the hole cards for each of the six positions, odds are given for each hand’s chances of winning. Once the Flop is played and again after the turn, those odds change depending on how likely each hand is to win. You can wager on any of the six hands to win or bet on the ranking of the winning hand. Essentially, odds/payouts will range between 1.01x and 250x the stake.

Poker Hand Rankings

  • Royal Flush: A, K, Q, J, 10, all of the same suit.
  • Straight Flush: Five consecutive cards of the same suit.
  • Four of a Kind (Quads): Four cards of the same rank.
  • Full House: Three cards of one rank and two cards of another rank (e.g., K, K, K, 5, 5).
  • Flush: Five cards of the same suit, not in sequence.
  • Straight: Five consecutive cards of different suits.
  • Three of a Kind (Trips or Set): Three cards of the same rank.
  • Two Pair: Two cards of one rank and two cards of another rank.
  • One Pair: Two cards of the same rank.
  • High Card: When no other hand is made, the highest card plays.

As with most games from BetGames, you can wager between €1.00 and €50.00 on each bet selection you choose.

How to Play Bet On Poker

Bet on Poker Betgames

Playing bet on Poker is straightforward, as you do not have to do anything other than place your bets. Simply choose the bet you want to place, decide how much you want to wager and then hit the ‘Place Bet’ button. As mentioned, you can continue to place bets all the way through a hand, right up until the river card (fifth card) is drawn.

The live dealer deals all six positions an initial two cards, and at that point, bets are open. The statistical chances are calculated, and betting odds are given to reflect those chances. The dealer then deals the first three community cards, or flop, and those odds adjust again. The same thing happens for a final time once the turn card (fourth card) is dealt and added to the three on the table. Once the fifth card is drawn, the winning hand is revealed, and all bets are settled. The dealer then prepares for the next hand.

Pros

  • A unique way to enjoy the game of Texas Hold’em Poker.

Cons

  • The RTP of 95% is not up there with those you can enjoy on other live table games.

Bet On Poker Review Final Thoughts

BetGames has built a strong reputation for the quality and uniqueness of its live casino games, and it’s easy to see why when playing Bet on Poker. It’s a simple game to play, as you’re not even playing it, just betting on which hand you think you will win. I obviously enjoyed it, as I’m a big poker fan, but I think most of you will have a great time sitting back and wagering in real time on the outcome of a hand.
