Reel Size Selection
Notice the strange quadrilateral in the top right-hand corner of the screen? This is a selector which allows you to make the grid smaller. The thing is, I can’t quite work out why you would want to?
You have fewer spaces to score wins, fewer spaces for bonus symbols to land, and the price per spin is the same. In actuality, everything is the same, except you have a smaller grid which SHOULD make it harder to do anything. This seems a strange feature to implement as far as I’m concerned. Ah, here we are, the real meat and potatoes as it were. Once you make it to this part of the game, the action truly heats up. Oh, that wasn’t a rhetorical question; each time you get a retrigger, your multiplier increases by 1x as well! You can tell a LOT of the RTP has been devoted to this feature, which makes it almost certainly worth using the bonus buy option if available to you.
Going Fishing
This is also part of the Free Spins feature, but I’m including it under its own subheading because it’s such a prominent feature. The fish symbols do appear in the base game, but they need to land on a payline in that mode. Not so during free spins; each fish has a random multiplier attached to it, and if a wild lands at the same time… you are in the money, my friend. They don’t need to be on a payline; the fish and wild can be anywhere, and you will still qualify for the full payout.
