Other than the wild symbols appearing in the base game to help out with some wins, there isn’t really anything else going on. It’s perhaps a little surprising not to have seen a modifier of some description added to the slot, which would have helped to break up the game a little.

To enter the free spin feature on Big Buffalo Megaways™ you will need to land 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatter symbols, which will award you with 8,15, 25, or 100 free spins respectively. This feature then becomes all about the wild symbols that can again land on reels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, and carry with them a multiplier value of either x2, x3, or x5. Players should note these multipliers accumulate when are they are all a part of the same win.
Keep your eyes peeled for the scatter symbols landing during the free spin bonus. If 2 land in view then you’ll be awarded with an extra 5 spins. Whilst 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters landing will award the same amount of spins that they do for a feature trigger.

Big Buffalo Megaways Review Final Thoughts
Skywind had a hit on their hands with the original version of this game Big Buffalo, so I guess it made sense to them to upgrade it to the Megaways™ engine and see if the success followed. Perhaps unfortunately for them there are already a number of Buffalo Related titles in the Megaways™ niche, with even more to follow in 2021.
So whilst the game has been very well made and is extremely smooth to play, it brings nothing particularly new to the market that players haven’t seen or tried before. If you liked the original game then give this one a go, otherwise it’s likely you’ll tire of it quickly.
