Blade Master Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Before we get into the technicals of the Blade Master slot, I want to point you in the direction of Backseat Gaming’s other slot releases to date. We’ve reviewed all five of them now (this one included), and overall, I’ve been quite impressed with what I’ve seen. Right, let’s get into the nitty gritty of Blade Master. First, I’ll begin with the slot’s symbols and what they’ll pay if you line them up across a payline. Wild symbols will play a big part when you spin the reels on Blade Master – something I’ll discuss later. However, for now, it’s important to note they offer the biggest symbol combination payouts. A 5-symbol combination of the Wild will pay 20x the stake. The Purple and Green Monsters pay 15x for the same-sized combo, while the Yellow and Blue Monsters pay 10x. All the playing card symbols ranging from Ace down to the ten will pay 1x.
The look and feel of all Backseat Gaming’s slots are similar to what you might have experienced on slots developed by Hacksaw Gaming. That similarity continues when you compare the staking options. Once again, you can spin from a minimum of €0.10 up to a maximum of €100.00 on the Blade Master slot.
Blade Master Slot Base Game
The base game is played over a 5×5 reel configuration with 19 fixed paylines in play. The idea is to line up three or more matching symbols on one of these active paylines, with the combination needing to start from reel one and move along the payline on consecutive reels. Obviously, the larger the combination, the bigger the payout you receive.

Triggered randomly in the base game or free spins bonus, the Blade Master feature will add between 2 and 5 wild multiplier symbols to the reels. During the base game, the multiplier values possible are 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x. Those multiplier values apply to the payout values of the winning combinations they help to create. Multiple multiplier wilds have their values multiplied by each other before the total is applied to symbol combination wins.
Blade Master Slot Bonus Features
The main bonus game on Blade Master is a free spins bonus, triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols, which will give you 10, 12, or 14 free spins, respectively.
Free Spins Feature
There is a global multiplier in play during the free spins, which starts at 2x but increases by +2, +3, +4, +5, or +10 whenever you land the respective Blue Flags holding those multiplier values. The highest global multiplier attainable is 50x. Additionally, on every spin, at least one Wild Multiplier symbol lands. It holds the same multiplier value as the global multiplier, and thus, that value applies to any symbol wins the wild symbol helps to create. Furthermore, if the Blade Master feature triggers during the free spins bonus, between 2 and 5 wild multiplier symbols will land, though this time, the global multiplier value is split between them all.

If you prefer to cut out the base game altogether, you can purchase the free spins bonus for 100x your current spin bet.

Blade Master Slot Review Final Thoughts
While I’ve been a fan of previous Backseat Gaming titles, this is the first one that left me feeling underwhelmed. It’s a reasonable slot, don't get me wrong, offering some decent multipliers and a good max win of 13,000x; it’s just not as good as previous releases, in my opinion.
