Bloodthirst Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The horror theme of Bloodthirst is surprisingly underrepresented in the online slots industry, despite forming the basis of popular games such as Blood Suckers 2, Blood Lust, and Blood Suckers Megaways. Bloodthirst looks quite similar to those previous games but is perhaps a little more full-on with its dark-looking monsters rather than the cartoon-like vampires that star in the Blood Suckers slots. Admittedly, it’s not a theme that will appeal to everyone, but the popularity of horror movies and TV shows demonstrates that there is undoubtedly a market for mature themes in the online slot marketplace. It seems that developers are happier sticking with known ‘safe’ options such as fruits, sweets, and (for some reason) fishing at the moment, though!
This is a ten pay-line machine, which usually ensures that there will be at least a couple of big hitters on the paytable. However, that doesn’t look to be the case with Bloodthirst, as it seems that Hacksaw has focused the game RTP on its features instead. The highest-paying wild symbol will only pay you 20x your total bet for a full payline of five of a kind, for example, whilst the high-paying monster symbols have been divided into two groups worth either 10x or 6x for all five symbols. I don’t think this is a huge problem in this game, though, as all symbols appear in huge stacks, allowing you to win on several paylines simultaneously. As for the low pays, there are five royals which all share identical returns of 1x the bet for a complete pay line.
Hacksaw’s games all seem to use an identical wagering setup, with minimum/maximum betting limits of €0.10 and €100.00, respectively. This offers players a fairly comprehensive selection of bets to choose from, so in my opinion, you’ll easily find a stake size comparable to your bankroll.
Base Game & Modifiers
The base game of Bloodthirst utilises a five reel, four row reel set. Each reel is packed with stacks of matching symbols, which is good because there are just ten fixed paylines spread across the game’s enlarged playfield. The paylines are not laid out in the usual manner of other ten-line games, so you may want to take a look at the layout illustration on the paytable before you begin to spin.
Monster Reels
When four high-paying monster symbols of the same type fill an entire reel, a special ‘Monster Reel’ bonus is awarded on top of any regular line hits. Each monster reel has a different payout, as follows:

Immortals Free Spins
The Immortals free spins is the only part of the game where the top jackpot of 10,000x your bet can be won. At the start of the bonus, one of the four high-paying monster symbols is selected to act as the active symbol for that bonus round.
