Boss Bear is actually the sequel to Push Gaming’s Big Bamboo slot, a game portraying the Panda bear in a completely different light. The original has a slightly lower RTP of 96.13% and similar bonus features but a more significant max win of 50,000x. I enjoyed the original, and as a big fan of Push Gaming slots, I am confident Boss Bear will prove to be just as popular.
As mentioned previously, the symbols on Boss Bear are the opposite of what you’ll find on Big Bamboo. Weapons and underbosses have replaced more delicate looking symbols such as wild animals and cute Panda’s eating Bamboo. Two symbols share the top spot on Boss Bear, with the Wild Symbol and the Panda Bear paying up to 100x the stake. There is quite the drop-off to the next best symbol, the Moneky Underboss, worth up to 20x. The Wolf pays a maximum of 10x, the Gun returns 4x, and the most you can win from the Ninja Star is 2x. All the low value playing card suit symbols payout 0.8x the stake for a winning combination of five.

Boss Bear Slot Base Game
Push Gaming’s Boss Bear is played on a 5×6 reel set with 50 fixed paylines in operation throughout. Aside from the Wild symbol and the Panda bear, which require two, you must land three matching symbols across a payline to form a winning combination. That matching sequence of symbols must begin on the first reel and move to the right across a payline.
Reveal Symbols
Stacked Reveal symbols can land on the reels during the base game and the free spins bonus. These transform into the same type of symbol, whether wild or regular paying symbols.
Golden Reveal Feature
When the Reveal Symbols land on at least three consecutive reels, regardless of their position, all the Reveal Symbols will turn into Golden Reveal Symbols. This will trigger the Coin Feature. Once triggered, the Golden Reveal symbols reveal themselves one by one and can each reward one of the following:

- Collector Symbols: When the Collector symbol lands, it collects all the values of the other Collector symbols and any instant prize symbols. The latter then spins again to reveal new symbols.
- Nudge Symbols: When this symbol appears, the Golden Reveal symbol expands to fill the entire reel on which it landed. Subsequently, the Nudge symbol is eliminated. The newly vacant reel positions transform into Coins with random values.
Trigging the free spins bonus from within the Coin Feature is possible if three or more bonus scatter symbols land. You receive seven free spins for three bonus symbols, eight free spins with two low-paying symbols converted to Reveal symbols for four bonus symbols, or nine free spins with four low-paying symbols converted to Reveal symbols for five.
