Theme-wise, this title is tough to categorise. It’s best described as having a mysterious, magical forest vibe, similar to that featured in the PG Soft demo here on our site titled Mystical Spirits, combined with a sickly-sweet, confectionary element as seen when you play Sugar Rush slot from PP. However, beneath its graphical skin lies an obvious gameplay link to many other titles, such as the popular Gates of Olympus Pragmatic Play slot, which shares a similar multiplier system and the same scatters pays mechanic. Bouncy Bombs utilises a scatter pays game mechanic. Bouncy Bombs is a well-made game that is good fun to play, but it doesn’t do quite enough to stand out from the many other similar games that feature the scatter pay/multiplier symbol combination. The Cascading Dynamite Bomb modifier is where the excitement peaks, as stringing together a combination of cascades with one of those doubling away on the reels can prove to be very lucrative. A solid release, but certainly not one of Hacksaw's most inventive.
