I’ve seen one or two other PG Soft games in the past; I know this as their strictly mobile-centric user interface design is immediately recognisable for those of us who are using an ultrawide format display! Their latest game is a 20-payline slot with a commendably high 96.74% RTP and a staggering maximum win of 50,000x bet.
I was particularly impressed by the ingenuity shown by the game’s sticky wild feature; it employs a caterpillar wild, which later transforms into a cocoon before finally becoming a butterfly, awarding a multiplier, and then flying away. A free spin-based bonus round is also present and boasts increased multipliers compared to the base game.

Butterfly Blossom Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The theme of Butterfly Blossom would best be described as nature; in my opinion, the reels are filled with flowers, as well as the butterflies, cocoons, and caterpillars mentioned previously. I’m no expert on botany, and I couldn’t name all the flowers on display here. What I can say is that they are beautifully drawn, as we tend to see on many PG Soft games, like their Cruise Royale slot and Fortune Tiger slot. So, it’s a shame this particular theme is only let down when the game is played on a large screen device where the out-of-focus backdrop has close to no detail, looks poor, and, arguably, a little bit cheap.
Neither the scatter symbol nor any of the three types of wild have any payout of their own, which is a little bit disappointing, although far from unusual in the modern market. A Red Rose tops the symbols with a return of 10x your bet for five-of-a-kind, but this number increases rapidly when multiple consecutive wins cascade; the red rose can pay as much as 150x your bet. A Pink Rose pays 5x your bet for all five, so it too can reach as much as 75x if you hit a full pay line on your fourth consecutive win. The remaining flowers pay 2.5x, 1x, 1x, 0.5x, and 0.5x for a five-of-a-kind hit on your initial paid spin. All symbols also appear stacked on the reels, so it could be possible to hit a full screen of matching red roses under rare circumstances.
Bet sizes range from €0.20 per spin to €100.00 at the top end. If you open up the bet options subpage, then you can set bet size, bet level, and base bet separately to reach lots of different steps between these two extremes. The same result can be achieved using only the plus and minus buttons.
Butterfly Blossom Slot Base Game & Modifiers
The base gameplay is pretty typical on Butterfly Blossom, and games designed exclusively for mobile devices tend to keep things straightforward, so all of the icons and controls are large and well-labelled, with helpful tips occasionally scrolling by to direct you further. It’s a 5×3 playfield game, so the reels fit perfectly on a smartphone display. Wins are awarded for matching three or more symbols from left to right, with all winning combinations triggering the cascading reels mechanic, instantly removing winning symbols from the reels and allowing new symbols to drop into their place.
Multiplier Modifiers
Each time a win is awarded, the multiplier for a subsequent win is increased. During the base game, these multipliers start at 1x, 2x, 3x, and 5x, but the final 5x multiplier can be increased to a maximum of 15x if a winning combination includes the wild butterfly symbol. During free spins, the multipliers are automatically increased to 3x, 6x, 9x, and 15x. All bonus wins are worth a minimum of 3x their normal paytable value!
Sticky Wild Symbols
Who doesn’t love a sticky wild? Usually, these symbols are reserved for bonus rounds, but Butterfly Blossom also includes them in the main game. You’ll need to land a Caterpillar wild to trigger the process, and it must be included as part of a winning combination before it becomes sticky.
If the Caterpillar wild forms part of a winning line, it will stick in place and transform into a Cocoon wild for the next re-spin. Again, if this new symbol forms part of another winning line, it will remain in place and transform into a Butterfly wild, increasing the multiplier by 5x. Hit a winning line again, and the butterfly will fly away this time, but it will also boost your multiplier up to 15x before it does

A single free spin feature is included in Butterfly Blossom, triggered by hitting three scatter “free spin” symbols anywhere on the screen.
Free Spins Feature
The bonus begins with eight free spins on the counter, but more spins can be won by hitting additional free spin symbols whilst the feature is active. One free spin symbol will award two free spins, whilst two free spin symbols together will add three more spins to your balance. Finally, if a full three scatters should land at once, you get an extra eight spins added to your remaining total. As mentioned previously, multipliers are increased to 3x, 6x, 9x, and 15x during this part of the game.
