Candy Pop 2 Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
I could reel off dozens of candy-themed slots without even having to think they’re that common! Pragmatic Play is the developer best known for creating slots with a sweet and sugary theme. The most popular is Sweet Bonanza, but the studio has also released the Candy Blitz slot, Candy Jar Clusters slot, Sugar Rush, and, most recently, the excellent Sugar Supreme Powernudge slot. All these titles offer something different and certainly provide plenty of entertainment. However, how does Candy Pop 2 compare with those slots and the many other sweet treats currently on the market?
Before I dive into the mechanics and the bonus features of Candy Pop 2, I will take you through the symbol payouts first. The Pink Candy scatter symbol delivers the best payouts and can land anywhere in view, paying 50x the stake when six instances appear on the reels. All other symbols must land in clusters, as explained in more detail in the next section. A 6-symbol cluster of the Star-Shaped candy pays 10x., whilst the Blue, Green, Orange, and Red Candies deliver 5x, 2.5x, 1.5x, and 1x, respectively.
You can join the action and start spinning the reels from as little as €0.20 up to a maximum of €500.00 when playing the Candy Pop 2. There are lots of other options within this range, although it should be noted the maximum bet on the real money version will likely be lower than what’s available on the demo version.
Candy Pop 2 Slot Base Game
I love an excellent cluster pays slot, especially those that feature the cascading reels mechanic. As for Candy Pop 2, you win payouts when clusters of 3 or more matching symbols connect vertically or horizontally on the reels. Any symbols in those clusters then vanish from the reels so that new symbols can take their place. That allows you to land a series of winning combinations from just one paid spin.
Bonus Multiplier
Further increasing the potential for decent base game wins is the progressive bonus multiplier. Each winning cascade increases a win multiplier by 1x up to 10x. That multiplier resets back to 1x at the start of a new spin.
Candy Pop 2 Slot Bonus Features
The free spins bonus feature can be triggered in one of two ways. It could trigger randomly on any spin, or once four or more scatter symbols land anywhere in view. There is a third way, too, using the bonus buy feature.
Free Spins Feature
If triggered randomly, you receive 10 free spins. However, if scatter symbols trigger the bonus, you receive 10 free spins as standard and 2 free spins per scatter above the 4 required. The maximum number of free spins possible is 18 when 8 scatter symbols trigger the bonus. This feature offers the Bonus Multiplier modifier found in the base game, but there is a difference this time, as it will not reset between spins. The multiplier accumulated continues to grow throughout the free spins feature.

Candy Pop 2 is far from my favourite candy-themed slot, but it offers entertaining gameplay, a good bonus feature, and multipliers that increase the more cascades you land.
