Cash Pandas Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Developer Slotmill is still relatively unknown amongst the masses, even though they have been around since 2019. That seems likely to change over the next year or two, though, with the standard of games coming out of the studio improving with each release. We’re over at the paytable, and the highest-paying symbol is the purple racoon worth 500x for clusters of 25 or more. Next, we have the red-coloured money valued at 150x, followed by the green money at 80x and finally, the blue money at 60x bet if 25+ symbols appear in a win. Base Game & Modifiers
Cash Pandas is a highly volatile cluster pays grid slot played across a reel format of 7×7 totalling 49 positions in which symbols will appear. For a win to be awarded during gameplay, you’ll need a minimum of five matching symbols to land adjacently. This will trigger the avalanche mechanic and cause all winning symbols to be removed from the reels. New symbols then drop down to replace them, potentially giving you extra chances to win from just one paid spin.
Giant Symbols
At the beginning of any spin, a giant symbol of either 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4 may randomly appear on the grid. If a win is generated using this symbol, when it is removed from the reels, it is guaranteed to leave a wild symbol behind. Furthermore, 2×2, 3×3, and 4×4 giant symbols count as 4, 9, and 16 symbols of the same type, respectively.
Battery Charge
If the battery charge symbol appears, it will add either 5 or 10 points to the collection meter. Once the points have been added, it will transform into a wild symbol.
Collect Meter
Each symbol involved in a win and removed by an avalanche is worth one point and will be added to the collect meter to the right of the reels. The first three steps on the meter take 25 points to fill, and when this is achieved, a unique power-up will be added to the queue. Once all reel tumbles are completed, the queued power-ups will spring into action. These could be any of the following:
- Random Wilds: Adds up to 7 wilds on the grid.
- Symbol Conversion: Picks a random symbol on the grid and changes them all into another symbol.
- Symbol Removal: Choose a symbol and removes them all from the grid.
Cash Pandas Slot Bonus Features
Cash Pandas has the one main bonus round triggered when the collect meter has reached 100 points and all subsequent power-ups have been played out.
Giant Raccoon Bonus Game
At the start of the feature, a Giant Raccoon is added to a random position on the grid and a global multiplier is awarded. Each successful reel avalanche achieved will increase this multiplier by a further x1 in value. The Giant Raccoon can be added to the reels several times before finally being broken down into 1×1 symbols that will remain sticky within the grid until used. During the bonus, if you fill the charge meter to 100 points, you can progress through the levels as seen below:
- Stage 1: Adds 2 – 5 Giant Raccoon Wilds, then adds 4 1×1 Raccoon Wilds at once.
- Stage 2: Adds 1 – 4 Giant Raccoon Wilds, then adds 8 1×1 Raccoon Wilds at once.
- Stage 3: Adds 1 – 4 Giant Raccoon Wilds, then adds 12 1×1 Raccoon Wilds at once.
Fast Track & Burst Mode
Several buy-in options are available to players who can access the bonus buy menu. These are as follows.
- Giant Symbol: Guarantees that a giant symbol will land on the next spin at the cost of 10x bet.
- Stage 1: Triggers stage one of the bonus at the cost of 70x bet.
- Stage 2: Triggers stage two of the bonus with a starting multiplier of x1 at the cost of 200x bet.
- Stage 2+: Trigger stage three of the bonus with a starting multiplier between 1x – 5x at the cost of 400x bet.
Finally, there is the rather unique Burst Mode, where you can choose a stake and a number of spins, and rather than seeing any gameplay or graphics, the slot will just show you the result of each bet staked instead. This is certainly not for the faint-hearted.

Final Thoughts
I like how Slotmill is quietly going about its business and creating high-quality slots full of exciting features. Yes, they make some games that are similar to others already out there, and no doubt there will be players who compare Cash Pandas to Play'n Go's iconic Reactoonz, but these are still fantastic titles, and I'm predicting a bright future for Slotmill.
