Cashpot Kegs Demo Slot (Kalamba Games) Slot Demo & Review

Kalamba Games have been busy lately, pumping out a constant stream of new games with an emphasis on big jackpots. Cashpot Kegs again falls into that bracket and is a 40 fixed payline game with a maximum win of 50,000x your stake, but the RTP is unnecessarily complex and ranges from 94.17% to 97.34%, as we’ll explain later.

Feature-wise, we have a selection of multiplier wilds, a “HyperBet” selector that allows you to pay to boost your RTP, and the eponymous Cashpot Kegs, holding up to 50,000x your stake… I’d love to see the odds of that one. Throw in a sprinkling of free spin goodness and a “HyperBonus” mode that allows you to purchase a bonus round with up to 12 free spins and 10x multiplier wild symbols. I’d surmise that Kalamba is serious about making Cashpot Kegs a game you’ll want to play long-term.

Am I talking trash? Have I been drinking too much from the kegs? Why not fire up our free demo slot of Cashpot Kegs below and make a judgement for yourself? Our demo is laboratory-tested and proven to contain more alcohol by ABV than any other competing online demo slot site!

Paytable For Cashpot Kegs Slot

Playing Cashpot Kegs feels like taking a trip to Oktoberfest; you’ve got kegs of beer all around, salty pretzels littering the reels, steins filled with beer, and busty female maidens serving sausages to ensure your alcohol is soaked up nicely. Only problem? The accordions. Please, not the accordion! Like most musical instruments, the accordion requires significant skill to play at a decent level. Unlike most musical instruments, however, once you achieve a proper level of skill, you still sound like you are drunk and out of tune. I get it, it was all they had back in 1543, but if you are in Germany today drinking beer and eating sausages, you want to listen to Sven Wittekind or Lars Klein banging out the Schranz…. Right? Sure, that stuff still sounds like a train is coming towards you for six minutes straight (Example: LK Rec – West Not East – Ryuji Takeuchi… also, Sven Wittekind & Robert Natus – Bad Heroes), and yet it’s still a major improvement over an old man with an accordion. Go figure.

Talking about the paytable will be fun here… the four “HyperBet” levels pay differently. Still, I eventually worked out that if you choose the minimum bet for each option, the bet multiples are the same… it isn’t the most intuitive system, so I’ll give the numbers for HyperBet level one first. The stein is top of the tree at 25x your bet for six-of-a-kind, followed by that bloody accordion at 12.5x, the sausages at 5x, and the pretzels at 5x. Go up to HyperBet level four, and suddenly you are only getting 5x for the stein, 2.5x for the accordion, and 1x for the sausages and pretzels. So what gives? Well, the difference is that you can also get a 10x multiplier in this mode, increasing the worth of the stein to 50x your bet. Is that a good trade?

It would seem to be, as the RTP increases from 94.17% at HyperBet level one to 96.22% at level four. There are other significant differences, too – HyperBet level one only gives you five free spins per bonus round, while level four gives you 12 spins and those 10x multipliers. Using the bonus buy feature, the RTP differences are even more pronounced – 96.48% at level one, compared to 97.34% at level four.

The minimum bet at level one is just €0.20, capping out at €50.00 per spin, whilst level four increases this to a minimum of €1.00 with the same maximum of €50.00 per spin. The intermediate levels are where things get strange – level two goes from €0.31 to €46.50, whilst level three offers €0.43 to €43.00 per spin.

Base Game & Modifiers

Play With 5 Reels, 40 Paylines, And Win Up To 50,000x Your Bet In Cashpot Kegs Online Slot From Provider Kalamba Games

As for the base game, well, you can’t fail to notice the cheap and simple user interface right off the bat; the symbols look like they could have been drawn by the kid on work experience for a fortnight, and the backdrop is as simple, tacky, and automated as photoshop will permit. The game throws a literal butt-tonne of blank spins at you too, which isn’t exactly encouraging – the combination of cheap production values and low win rates could quickly turn off new players before they even get started.

However, make it past the initial “what the hell is this” phase, and you might begin to see a little charm in this quirky online slot. The huge, 6×4 playfield gives many opportunities to score wins – even if they don’t occur very often. Play at the higher HyperBET levels and the multiplier wilds can boost your winnings too, and the bonus round is well worth waiting for – or just paying for if you have that option in your jurisdiction!

Hyperbet

This innovative feature gives you four different levels of variance and payout sizes. The difference is stark – play at level one, and you’ll suffer an appalling 94.17% RTP, but this quickly rises to 94.76%, 95.62%, and finally 96.22% at HyperBET level four. You do have to bet a little more to play the higher levels, but this will only affect you if you are playing at the lowest possible bet size.

The HyperBET also alters the game in more drastic ways, which is the reason for the higher RTP numbers – wilds gain multipliers of 2x, 3x, or 10x at levels two through four, respectively, whilst the free spins bonus is also more generous about the number of spins it awards – seven, nine, or 12 for each of the higher levels compared to just five at level one. It’s easy to see that the higher levels offer better value, but the minimum bet of €1.00 per spin may be too much for some.

Cashpot Kegs Slot Free Spins Feature

Land A Minimum Of 3 Scatters Symbols To Trigger The Free Spins Feature On Cashpot Kegs Video Slot

Bonus scatter symbols of pretty girls carrying beer are hidden away on reels two through five, offering a bonus free spin mode to players who can catch three or four of them simultaneously.

Starting with eight free spins, your winnings will be boosted by a multiplier of 2x if you hit a three-scatter trigger, whilst those lucky enough to hit all four of the beautiful maidens will enjoy an enhanced 10x multiplier on their winnings.

Look out for the so-called “bonus accumulator” symbols during the free spins feature – also known as “stars” in normal-people land; every three of these symbols collected will add three more free spins to your remaining total. Most bonus rounds will be boosted by at least six extra spins thanks to these beauties, but I had one insane feature which seemed to go on forever, eventually completing with 35 free spins. Damn!

Bonus Cashpots Feature

This is supposedly a major part of the game, but despite it appearing in the title, I only hit two cashpot features in my entire time playing this slot – these were a 5 and a 7 keg, so 25x and 50x my bet, respectively. These winnings did not rock my world, suffice to say, but if I ever hit the maximum 16 kegs, I think I’d fall off my chair.

50,000x your stake is a serious prize – especially if you are lucky enough to play at €5.00 per spin or higher. Remember, at €20.00 per spin, you become a millionaire if you hit 16 kegs… but I also advise remembering that at €20.00 per spin, you are unlikely to be a member of the not-homeless population for very long.

Bonus Buy Feature

If you’re lucky enough to be playing from a region where the feature buy is active, then there are multiple options available for you to choose from. However, these can get expensive very quickly, so if you decide to use them, proceed with caution.

Cashpot Kegs Slot Review Final Thoughts

I wasn’t sure how to score Cashpot Kegs – I enjoyed playing the game, but the cheap presentation grated on me – the user interface design is fine, but the graphic design lets down an otherwise excellent product.
