Cats Of The Caribbean Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Let’s start with the theme, as always – Games Global has done a terrific job of making their feline-themed adventure on the high seas look every bit as polished as a top-tier release from any of the so-called “big boys” of the online slots industry – it reminds me a lot of Quickspin. Still, the addition of device-specific buttons on the left-hand side of the screen is a welcome inclusion for those with lesser-known brands of smartphone or tablet. As a user of a 21:9 smartphone, I often find that many games don’t quite fit perfectly, and this button sorted things straight into line. As for the cats and pirate aspects, these two themes have been done to death, admittedly, but when was the last time you remember seeing them come together like this? It’s quirky, fun, and unique – what more could you ask for?
Games Global have taken the time to make sure their paytable stays in sync with the current wager setting, making it a breeze to see how much each symbol is worth for three, four, or five-of-a-kind combinations. The wild even has its own boosted return of 10x your stake for a full pay line of five-of-a-kind, double its nearest rival in the form of … well, everybody, essentially. Base Game & Modifiers
The base game is fast and furious action – provided you aren’t living in a jurisdiction such as the UKGC like myself, who prohibited the ability to even play in quick play mode a while back. Wild Cannon Modifier
Each time a wild lands on the screen, a cannonball will be added to the box in the bottom-left corner. The modifier itself can activate when you have two balls or as many as fifteen, and when it does, it will fill the reels with additional wild symbols in random positions until all of the cannonballs are used up. If a ball hits the same spot two or more times, it will add a multiplier to the position, so the more balls you can get before the feature hits, the better!

Okay, I have some questions; First of all, why doesn’t Big Tabby get his own free spins bonus round? With how democratic these guys were about divvying up the paytable numbers, this seems like a slightly unusual omission – don’t you think?!

Until then, the mode you trigger is determined by which symbol lands on the fifth reel when the final scatter falls into place:

Cat Pots Bonus
Catch three scattered cat pot bonus wheels, and you win entry to the Cat Pots Bonus round! These only show up on the middle three reels, so you need to be extra lucky to land all three of them together. If you do, it works much like a progressive jackpot in that you are guaranteed to win one of the four different prizes – sadly, also, like a progressive jackpot, it will almost always be the lowest one of the bunch!
