Champions Of Mithrune Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The term “Champions” has become common parlance in the video game world and is frequently used to describe the major selectable characters in online multiplayer games. The green character… sex unknown! Will pay 6x your bet for five-of-a-kind, and finally, the purple lady has a return of 5x for each line of her. These amounts seem a little bit low considering the other characteristics of this slot. Still, the large number of modifiers triggered in the base game means there is far more to the Champions of Mithrune slot game than the headline figures alone.
I’m not sure if the numbers shown in the demo version of this game will match the actual amounts you can bet in the real money game that accepts Euro; for example, the demo game allows you to bet just €0.05 per spin if you wish, with the maximum bet topping out at €100.00 per paid spin. The maximum seems realistic for Play’N’Go, but I’m not sure about the minimum; I think €0.20 per spin may be more likely.
Base Game & Modifiers
The main game in Champions of Mithrune online slot uses a 5×5 playfield, which is an unusual size for a slot that uses typical pay lines rather than pay ways of cluster pays payout mechanics. There are just 20 fixed pay lines spanning this enlarged grid size, with winnings awarded for hitting three or more matching symbols from left-to-right only.

Anastina The Sorcerer Modifier
Our hot sorcerer lady will add a cluster of matching symbols somewhere on the reels; sometimes, this will just be a small 2×2 block on the right-hand side that does not result in a win, but occasionally she will go crazy and add a full-screen 5×5 group of matching symbols to the screen, which should be enough to get you close to the games maximum jackpot of 7,500x your bet!
Olc The Goblin Modifier
So it turns out the green character is a goblin, and Olc, as he likes to be called, will transform some combination of reels two, three, and four into stacked wild symbols, so you will only need to worry about lining up matching symbols on the first and last reel. Nice!
Silvana The Range Modifier
The blue lady with the crossbow will randomly add between four and seven wild symbols anywhere on the screen, which sometimes works out exceptionally well. Still, in my experience, it does tend to be worse than Anastina and Olc the Goblin’s modifiers.
Gorm The Barbarian Modifier
I guess the champions must scale down from best to worst, as Gorm the Barbarian is a step down from each of the earlier modifiers, which also seemed to be a step down from the one before them. Gorm will transform all instances of a single royal symbol into wilds, which may be a treat if you happen to have a tonne of Aces on the screen, but otherwise, it tends to be a bit of a letdown.
San The Shapeshifter Modifier
And just when you think you are getting a handle on things, it turns out you might be wrong! Syn will transform all Champion symbols that have landed on the reels into the highest paying out of the bunch, which has to be better than the previous two modifiers. As a set, however, this is an excellent group of mods that do an awesome job of breaking up base gameplay in between bonus rounds.
Champions Of Mithrune Slot Free Spins Feature
Speaking of bonus rounds, Play’n’Go uses their familiar setup of only having scatters on reels one, three, and five in this game. Still, the number of scatter symbols featured on each reel is obviously tweaked to suit this setup, as the feature doesn’t seem to land less frequently than in any other game.
When you first enter the free spins feature, you will be presented with the Power Up screen – as the reels spin in this mode, champion symbols will appear, and for each group of three that you collect, you’ll add an extra feature for your forthcoming free spins. Multiple champions can be unlocked during the Power Up phase, and all unlocked champions will be applied to every spin during your feature – things can get crazy here, trust me!
The power up phase also contains potion symbols that can apply multipliers to your bonus round, ranging from x1 to x10. If scatter symbols happen to drop during this mode, you can also boost the number of free spins you will receive up to a maximum of 20 (twice the regular number).
The Power Up feature works like a three-spin feature in many other slots, granting you three spins at the beginning and finishing when you finally hit three dead spins in a row. Power Up pretty much determines how your free spins round is going to go – it will either be dull, or it will be unbelievably awesome because you collected tonnes of boosters during the Power Up phase.
