This makes me feel somewhat conflicted, as I’ve enjoyed playing many of Lady Luck’s games because of their unique and innovative features, but at the same time, I probably wouldn’t choose to play many of these slots for real money because of the low maximum wins. Cherry Supreme has five or ten fixed paylines, a 95.50% RTP, and a maximum win of 170x your bet. That last number puts it firmly in the lower-variance category once again, but I’m going to keep an open mind for now.
Over to the feature set, then, the first thing to appear on the paytable is the “Supreme Wilds” feature, which is effectively a randomly triggered modifier that can occur on any base game spin. Cherry Supreme Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Fruits have been the backbone of slot machines since day one, so much so that many of these games are regularly referred to as “fruit machines”, even if they do not technically fit that description. We have reviewed endless games with a theme similar to this one here at Demoslot, so I cannot give Lady Luck any points for originality this time. We recently looked at Super Fruit Smash and Fruitmax Cashlinez, for example, both of which were arguably more exciting games than this one, as they both offer much larger maximum wins. If your preference is for lower-variance slots, however, then perhaps Cherry Supreme will be more to your taste.
It’s time to give a few hard numbers to back up my opinions regarding this slot; the highest-paying symbols are the wild and watermelon, both of which have a return of 5x the current bet for a complete payline of five-of-a-kind. In second place, we have the lemon symbol, which is worth 3x your stake for a completed pay line, whilst the cherries will pay you 2.5x, and the blackberries are worth only 2x for all five symbols. There are five lower-paying symbols on the paytable as well, two of which will pay you 1x for all five symbols, whilst the latter three are only worth 0.7x for a full pay line. You can boost your winnings using the gamble feature if you wish, but there aren’t any other apparent means to improve your chances of hitting it big whilst playing Cherry Supreme., I’m afraid.
As for the wagering options, the minimum bet is a penny per line regardless of whether you choose to play with five or ten fixed paylines. This results in a minimum bet of either €0.05 or €0.10, depending on the option chosen, and a corresponding maximum of €15.00 or €30.00, respectively.
Base Game & Modifiers
Unfortunately, Cherry Supreme isn’t the most exciting online slot you will play this year or perhaps even this week. The game uses a 5×3 playfield, with either five or ten fixed paylines depending on your preferences and configuration. That would be fine with me, but the wins posted on the paytable are incredibly low for a game with so few paylines.
Gamble Feature
The only real base game feature is the option to try and double or quadruple your winnings using the gamble feature, which is a straight 50/50 shot on red or black or a 25% chance based on picking a playing card suit. The game does allow you to use this option repeatedly if you wish until your total win exceeds 100x the starting bet.
Cherry Supreme Slot Bonus Features
Cherry Supreme does include a full free spin-based bonus round, but you are likely to encounter the Supreme Wilds feature much more often than that one. I wasn’t sure whether to include the Supreme Wilds in the base game section as it is a randomly activated feature, but considering the win opportunities available in this game, I would definitely categorise it as a bonus round.
Supreme Wilds
This is effectively a modifier, as it can randomly trigger on any base game spin. When it does, between two and ten wild symbols will be randomly added in random positions anywhere on the reels. This would be a fantastic feature in many other games, but because of the low figures on the paytable, I never saw any impressive results from this feature, even when I was lucky enough to receive a large number of wild symbols.
There is also an “Instant Cash” feature which can occasionally activate as a secondary stage to this bonus, adding up to four random cash prizes to the wild symbols which are created in the first instance. I only saw this happen a couple of times whilst I was testing the game and didn’t receive anything impressive in terms of winnings on either occasion.
This feature could have a decent amount of potential, but my own experience suggests that you could end up feeling a little disappointed with it, no matter how generous it is.
Free Spins
Hitting three diamond scatter symbols will award seven free spins, whilst four or five scatter symbols will give you either 10 or 15 free spins, respectively. Sadly, there aren’t any additional features offered during the free spins feature, so you don’t have any better odds of receiving a big win in this mode than you do during the base game.
On the plus side, however, you can at least re-trigger the free spins by hitting at least three more diamond scatter symbols whilst the feature is in play. These re-triggers appear to occur relatively frequently in my experience, and with a little luck, you could hit something at least slightly exciting if you manage to hit several free spin re-triggers.
Cherry Supreme Slot Review Final Thoughts
Cherry Supreme looks and plays like a thousand other online slots, and there genuinely is very little that I can pick out to differentiate this game from the myriad other online slots with a fruit-based theme. Considering the quality of Lady Luck’s other games, I’d probably choose to give this one a miss and try another of their slots instead.
