Coin Bash Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The theme of Coin Bash isn’t anything new – stacks of coins, piggy banks, playing card symbols and the like. The game does look good, though, and has clearly been designed to appeal to those who are playing on mobile devices due to the vertical layout and the fact that the scrollbar works in reverse whilst browsing the paytable and information pages. The huge piggy bank and pink colour scheme make this game look more pig-themed than it really is, or perhaps it’s just personal bias – I’ve been spinning games such as Peaky Pigs and The Great Pigsby Megaways recently, so maybe I have pigs on the brain?
Let’s check out the paytable then, or should that be paytable(s)? The scatter paytable ranges between 1x your bet for three of the piggy bank scatters, maxing out at 5000x the current stake for the maximum of nine symbols. It’s great that you can hit such a large win at any point during play, including the base game but be aware that the scatters can also act as blockers for regular pay line combinations. The wild symbol has a special payout of 125x the current stake for a full pay line of five of a kind, which is much higher than the highest-paying regular symbol. Speaking of which, the triple coin stack is worth 37.5x your bet, followed by the double coin stack at 20x and the single at 7.5x for all five. Any mixture of these three symbols on a pay line will also score you a win of 3.25x your bet for all five. There are four low-paying symbols as well, but the returns for these sit between just 1x and 3.25x your bet for a completed pay line.
Wagering options begin with a minimum price per round of €0.20, after which there are many intervals on the way to the maximum bet of €50.00 per spin.
Base Game & Modifiers
There’s a standard 5×3 layout on Coin Bash with a fixed 20 paylines in place throughout all gameplay. Creating a winning combo couldn’t be easier; land three matching symbols from left to right across the reel set, and the corresponding value will be credited to your balance.
Piggy Bank Scatter Symbols
We’ve already discussed the secondary scatter symbols earlier in this review, but they are so important to a game like this that it seems essential to give them another mention here.
The piggy bank symbol has a minimum payout of 1x the current stake for three symbols and maxes out at 5,000x for all nine possible scatters. These symbols appear in all modes but are most likely to appear on a “Coin Spin”, as detailed below.
Coin Spin Modifier
This particular mode can activate at the beginning of any base game spin and add many additional piggy bank scatter symbols to the reel set. This should make it a little easier to win the bigger piggy bank prizes in theory, although, during my testing of the game, it didn’t seem to make a huge difference. Hopefully, this mode will be more generous to you than it was for me!
Coin Bash Slot Bonus Features
The main bonus round is a free spin feature triggered when a lucky star appears on reels two, three, and four during the base game. A small cash prize of 1x your current bet will be paid, after which you will be taken to the bonus wheel.
Before your bonus round begins, you will be presented with the bonus wheel, which contains several segments indicating different numbers of free spins and multipliers. Ideally, you will be hoping for 20 free spins at a 5x multiplier, but it is much more likely you will end up with 12 spins at 2x because there are more of those segments on the wheel than any other combination.
The multiplier feature applies to all wins except for the piggy bank scatter symbols, whose prizes are not affected by the current bonus round multiplier. This mode can be re-triggered by collecting seven lucky star symbols whilst the feature is in play. As an added bonus, your current multiplier is increased by 1x each time the free spins bonus is retriggered.
Coin Bash Slot Review Final Thoughts
Coin Bash plays similarly to other games from Snowborn, so there isn’t much new to see here. It’s not my favourite machine from this developer, but it is reasonably fun, and the large scatter prizes will surely attract a decent number of players to give it a few spins now and again.
