Many players are likely to see this game as lazy and unimaginative on the part of the developers – all of the symbols are royal symbols, with four premium symbols based on old fruit machine style icons like Lucky Sevens, Bells, Stars, and Clovers. There are many other online slots that have a similar look to this – NetEnt’s classic title Twin Spin springs to mind for some reason, but that is a very different type of game. You can’t dispute that the look of this game is nothing we haven’t seen a million times before, and yet I still felt that this game had a decent degree of originality to it somehow. Maybe I’m just confused, or perhaps Red Tiger has pulled off something special here – I’ll let you be the judge.
Ahhhh, good old ten-line slots. These are the types of games where the numbers on the paytable can be enough to get you excited all on their own. 200x your stake just for a single pay line of Lucky Sevens? Yes, please! I’ll have some of that! The bell pays 150x for five-of-a-kind, followed by the star at 120x and the four-leaf clover with a payoff of 100x for all five on a payline. And remember, there are multiplier symbols on the reels here too! You could easily hit a 3x or 5x multiplier in the middle of your line of Lucky Sevens, taking the winnings up to 600x or even 1,000x your stake just for a simple base game hit. So, what can you expect from the base game whilst playing Diamond Royale? As mentioned previously, it’s a typical 5×3 playfield, and wins are awarded for hitting lines of matching symbols from left to right, just as you would expect in any other online slot. Wild Respin Feature
Any winning combination featuring wild symbols will trigger a free re-spin where all of your multipliers are stored and applied to any winnings you might achieve from the free re-spin.
For example, let’s say you hit a nice win with three wild symbols featuring multipliers of 5x, 2x, and 1x; you will be paid for that spin before the multipliers are added together, and x8, all wins will be displayed in the top-right hand corner. Your free re-spin will then start, and you hit another win with another 5x wild symbol. Once again, you’ll be paid for the current spin before another free re-spin is awarded, with any wins being multiplied by 13x. This process can continue indefinitely, but in my experience, you will be lucky to get more than two re-spins before a dead spin hits or no more wilds appear, finishing your wild re-spin feature.

Hit three scatter symbols during the main game, and you will win fifteen three spins in what can be a very special bonus round. There are some unique features here that you won’t find in the main game, so let’s talk about them!
Fifteen free spins feel like a generous number, but believe me, they will pass by in the blink of an eye, especially if you are unlucky and score a bunch of dead spins during this mode.
Let’s not be negative, though – during the free spins, all multiplier symbols that appear on the screen will be added to an accumulating total displayed in the top right of the screen. There is even an additional double wild symbol that can double your current multiplier value instantaneously!
I managed to get up to multipliers above around 80x during my testing of this game, but unfortunately, I only ever hit anything significant when I had about a 25x multiplier… I say “unfortunately”, but the result was still huge. This game has some enormous potential in the free spins feature; just be aware that a ten-line game will deliver more dead spins than you are used to – something which can be particularly frustrating during a bonus round.

I have to say; that Diamond Royale has been the surprise of the year for me so far. These are exactly the kinds of games that I enjoy, but the way it is presented here could prevent some people from giving this game a try and finding out for themselves. All I can say is give Diamond Royale a go – I don’t think you will be disappointed!
