The standard gameplay on Avatar’s DonKey and the Goats slot is set over a 6×4 reel interface, with an upper escalating reel also in play above all reels. It is possible to increase the number of paylines up to 117,649 in the free spins feature, but the base game only offers 15,625 ways to win. Landing a winning combo will require you to hit at least three matching symbols on consecutive reels, with the win needing to start from the leftmost reel first. Any payline hits will trigger the cascading reels engine, which removes the symbols involved in the win and replaces them with new ones.
Vegas Reel Multiplier
Each time a player forms a winning line and gets rewarded with a cascade, a single arrow lights up the multiplier shown on the Vegas Reel. When all arrows are lit, the multiplier value is won and applied to the Global Multiplier. The arrows are then reset, and if the new multiplier value is won again by getting three wins in a single spin, the additional multiplier will be added to the existing one. Whenever a DonKey symbol lands anywhere on the reels, a random Vegas Reel Reward is triggered. In the base game, the reward comes with 1 to 3 lives, which count down for each subsequent paid spin. During the free spins, the reward comes with 1 to 5 lives, which activate for each subsequent spin until the counter reaches zero. In addition, when the free spins are active, each unlock of a Vegas Reel Reward grants additional free spins equal to the number of lives unlocked for that reward. A player can have more than one reward unlocked at once. If the same reward gets unlocked while active, it is granted additional lives. The possible rewards are as follows:
- Wild Bombs: When active, during each spin, a random spread of wild symbols will appear over the reels.
- Synced Reels: When active, two or more reels are synced. Synced reels drop at the same time during a spin and contain the same set of symbols.
- Low Pay Removal: This will remove a random number of low-paying symbols from the spin.
Zapreel
The ZapReel is an additional, horizontal reel displaying all the regular symbols that can connect and form a winline with the symbols from regular reels. In addition, an Uppercut Wild reward can appear on the ZapReel. The reward is activated if a winline is formed on any position directly below it. Once activated, the Uppercut Wild turns into an Expanding Wild, covering the entire reel.

But if you enjoy both of these types of slot games, there's little reason to think you won't get a kick out of DonKey and the GOATS too.I'm sure in future releases, we will likely see these new elements combined with the POP mechanic, and what results that brings will certainly be interesting to see.
