As noted earlier, nine reels and nine rows are present in this game, which form its base grid. It is across this grid that you create clusters of symbols to ensure a winning payout occurs. A cluster must feature at least five identical symbols, and a cluster forms from horizontally and vertically aligned symbols.
Cascades
Whenever you form a winning cluster, the symbols included in it will disappear from the grid. This allows new symbols to fall from the top and potentially create additional wins for you. Should this happen, the process of cascades repeats itself, and this continues until no other wins can be made.
Clusterbuster
In the centre of the grid, you will see an inactive cluster of locked tiles, forming a large dragon’s egg image. The outer tiles of this image will unlock for you when winning clusters are formed around it. Simply break all of the outer tiles to unlock the image and release a dragon hatchling, which will introduce a special modifier to the grid.
Blue Hatchling
When the blue hatchling is released from the dragon egg, it will fly above the playfield and destroy all lower paying symbols. This removes them from the grid, allowing only higher paying symbols to land in the first cascade after this occurs.
Green Hatchling
Once you unlock the green dragon hatchling, it will fly over the grid and drop a random number of wild symbols onto the screen, making it easier to create wins.
Purple Hatchling
And should you manage to release the purple dragon hatchling from the egg, it will fly over the grid and add a lightning multiplier to random symbols. Multipliers can be added to up to 13 symbols during a spin, with up to 100x multipliers coming into play.
Jackpots
You will notice that on the left-hand side of the grid are three jackpot amounts. You can win one of these when three or more jackpot symbols appear on the reels. Simply spin the Jackpot Wheel to determine which jackpot amount will be won. There are hourly, daily and big drop jackpot values available.
