Dragons Fire Megaways™ Dragon Egg Multiplier
The Dragon Egg multiplier can be a good way to maintain your balance at a healthy level whilst you are in search of the free spin feature. Each time you hit a winning combination the multiplier will increase by x1, and so the next time you hit a win it will be multiplied by your current level, and that level will again increase by 1 in value.
Hitting a run of consecutive winning combinations can lead to a big multiplier, if you then hit some premium symbols with multiple Megaways™ then you are going to be in for a huge base game win. Players should note that once your run of consecutive wins ends, the multiplier will return back to x1.
Dragons Fire Megaways™ Dragons Eye Boost
The eye of the dragon can randomly trigger during the base game and if it does it can not only lead to a big win, but can also give you a helping hand with your multiplier count. Once triggered, the egg multiplier will begin to count up from x1, and stop anywhere up to x10, the reels will then stop and any wins will be multiplied by that amount. If a win is achieved then the egg multiplier will increase by x1 and the reels will spin again, once a losing spin lands then the multiplier will return back to x1.
Dragons Fire Megaways™ Fire Blast
The fire blast feature on Dragons Fire Megaways™ will see the Dragon appear and breathe fire on to the reels. Once the fire disappears it will leave either wilds in place, or the free spin scatter symbols.
Ideally in this situation you would like to see the scatter symbols for the chance to trigger the bonus, but if you have a high multiplier in the Dragons Egg, then some well placed wilds on the reels can lead to a big win if you’re lucky.
It should be noted that there is also the Dragons Kindness feature. This can trigger when there are 2 free spin scatter symbols on the reels, the Dragon may appear and randomly breathe fire on to the reels to reveal a 3rd scatter symbol to trigger the free spin bonus.
Dragons Fire Megaways™ Free Spin Feature
To trigger the bonus round on Dragons Fire Megaways™ you will need to land 3 or more of the free spin scatter symbols anywhere in view. If this is achieved then you will be invited to choose one of 3 dragons to reveal your free spin amount, and once this has been determined then the free spin bonus will begin.
Once the free spin feature is under way then the main aim is to increase the size of your Dragons Egg multiplier, to do this you again just like in the base game need to hit as many wins as possible. The difference during the free spin feature is that after any win that you achieve, the winning symbols will be removed from the screen and new ones will drop down to replace them. This is known as cascading reels and it’s a feature Red Tiger have used in previous Megaways™ releases such as Mystery Reels Megaways™.
Another plus point to the bonus round is that once you hit a losing spin your egg multiplier will stay at its current value, instead of resetting back to x1. This of course gives you a great chance to build a big multiplier and hit some massive wins in the process.
The feature can be re-triggered by 3 or more of the free spin scatters again landing anywhere in view. Players should also keep a look out for the fire blast, this can throw in plenty of wilds to further help boost your winning combinations.
Dragons Fire Megaways™ Slot Review Final Thoughts
Dragons Fire Megaways™ is Red Tiger Gaming’s third Megaways™ slot, and in our opinion it’s their best effort to date. Those of you who are familiar with their games will know that their is an original title named Dragons Fire, and that this latest slot is just an updated version with the Megaways™ mechanic added.
We found the base game features to be interesting, and they seemed to pay quite well most of the time when they landed, although getting past around x5 seemed to be a little tricky. As we have mentioned on the previous Red Tiger Megaways™ Slots, we always seem to find them quite hard to bonus compared to some of the other Megaways™ titles out there, but it should be remembered that this is a highly volatile slot that is capable of paying some huge bonuses, so it’s to be expected that the free spin feature can be difficult to trigger.
Red Tiger are certainly raising the standard of their Megaways™ portfolio, and we’re excited to see where they go next on their journey with these exciting slots.
