Duck Hunters Demo (Nolimit City) Slot Demo & Review

It's always interesting when Nolimit City gives us their take on popualr gaming engines and themes, as we saw in their release of Ugliest Catch, which stuck to the original mechanics others had used but added a pinch of NLC magic dust to make it stand out and put their unique twist to the niche. So, when I saw the setup of Duck Hunters, it was clear the provider was about to shake things up and perhaps move diehard players away from Pragmatic Play's Sugar Rush 1000, but will they succeed?

One huge plus point, in my opinion, is that Duck Hunters operates on the scatter pays mechanic, unlike Sugar Rush 1000 and other clones, which use cluster pays. I guess it doesn't make much difference, as obviously, the game will pay if it wants to, but I always feel you have a better chance of winning on a scatter pays game. More benefits come in the form of Nolimit's in-house mechanics, which can increase your chances of winning, including the Bomb, xWays and Infectious Ways, and then there are several bonus buy and enhanced betting options, too.

I did manage to hit a couple of max wins while testing, and these came courtesy of the enhanced "Day Spins" bet, where the overlay multipliers begin at 1,024x. I've got the impression that since the release of Outsourced, Nolimit has tried to make getting a maximum win on more of its games accessible through the higher betting options, and whilst this isn't suitable for low-rollers, those with bigger bankrolls can certainly roll the dice with bigger spin bets to try and hit the jackpot.

Wrapping things up then, if you hadn't guessed already, I'm a fan of Duck Hunters, and although I may be wrong, I see this being a big success for Nolimit City, especially with those bigger bets that are more than capable of awarding a max win at any time.
