Electric Avenue Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The reels on Electric Avenue are set on a background with what we are imagining is Miami boulevard. It certainly has that feel to it with the palm trees and shops in the distance, furthermore bolstered by a typically sounding 80s soundtrack accompanying your gameplay.
Heading over to the paytable we see that the lower paying symbols on Electric Avenue are made up of a diamond, club, heart, spade, soda can, and neon glasses, with pays ranging from 0.25x, up to 1.25x when wins have been formed through them. The premium value symbols comprise of a rubik’s cube, sneakers, polaroid camera, and a ghetto blaster, where a 6 of a kind win will pay 2x, 2x, 5x, and 25x respectively.

There are two bonus features that you can choose from on Electric Avenue but firstly you will need to trigger the free spins. To do this you will need 3 or more scatter symbols to land anywhere in view, with the more scatters that you land rewarding you with a greater cash prize.
So let’s look at each of the bonus features in more detail.
Neon Free Spins
If you choose the neon free spins bonus round then you will be awarded with 10 free spins to begin the feature with. The goal during this bonus is for a wild reel to land on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5, if it does and it is a part of a winning combination then it will turn into a wild wheel.
The wild wheel will begin to spin and will stop on either x11, x22, x33, x44, or x55. Whichever value that the wheel stops at, that multiplier will be applied to any wins that the wild is a part of. Re-triggers can take place if 3 or more scatter symbols once again land anywhere in view.
Electric Free Spins
Selecting the electric free spins will award you with 7 free spins to begin the bonus with. But before the feature begins a big reel will spin and stop on one of the symbols from the paytable. This symbol will then become your sticky wild for the duration of the bonus.
Once under way you will note that a grid has formed on the reels that covers all positions across reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. If your selected symbol lands within that grid then it will turn into a wild symbol and remain sticky in that position for the remainder of the bonus.
Additional free spins can be awarded during this feature, and to achieve them you will need to complete a full row with wilds. If you succeed in this you will be rewarded with 3 extra spins, with a maximum amount of 12 spins in re-triggers up for grabs during this bonus.
Electric Avenue Final Thoughts
It’s fairly plain to see that you’re basically just playing Danger High Voltage but with a different theme. For those who are really familiar with DHV you will notice that the multiplier can’t reach the same value on Electric Avenue during the neon free spin bonus, with it maxing out at x55, where as DHV can reach x66.
Base game wild multipliers also slightly differ with a x5 wild being the max that can land on Electric Avenue, and only up to two multiplying wilds in one spin. Where again DHV can land 3 multiplying wilds that are x6 in value.
In summary Electric Avenue is a decent clone of Danger High Voltage but it kind of just falls a little short with regard to the pays in our opinion. All that being said though, if you love DHV then this is certainly worth a go just to see the game play out in a different theme.
