Euphoria Megaways Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The original Euphoria online slot from iSoftBet was a 243-way machine that was visually highly similar to this Megaways update. The game uses the familiar pinks and purples colour scheme found in games such as Reel Star and Funk Master, whilst the brightly-coloured gems on the reels are reminiscent of NetEnt’s Starburst. The animated space-themed backdrop is pretty without being too overwhelming, and the user interface is sensibly arranged with the minimum amount of buttons and controls necessary for the game’s operation. All of this results in a great-looking online slot with an overall presentation that is easily on par with anything the best-known developers in the industry can offer.
So far, so good – but how about the all-important paytable? Things start to get a little bit sketchier here, I’m afraid. The highest-paying symbol is a circular diamond with a 50x payout for a full payway of six of a kind; not bad, but the rest of the paytable does not fare so well. There’s a blue gem with a 5x bet payout for all six symbols, a purple one at 2.5x, then a green one at 2x, and that’s your lot as far as the high pays are concerned. That effectively makes one great paying symbol and three high pays, yet no less than six low pays fill up the lower half of the table! These start with a payout of 1.25x for six aces and bottom out at 0.4x for a full payway of six nines. All symbols do at least appear in stacks which makes it much easier to hit lots of payways simultaneously, but I still couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed with the returns overall.
Selecting your bet size in Euphoria Megaways is performed via a single coin value control with options ranging between €0.01 and €1.00. These options result in minimum/maximum total wager limits of €0.20 and €20.00, respectively.
Base Game & Modifiers
The base game of Euphoria Megaways uses a standard six reel setup, each of which can divide into between two and seven rows on each spin. This format is becoming increasingly popular in recent Megaways games, which seem to be dropping the additional horizontal reel more often than not.
Despite the lack of an extra reel, six rows of up to seven rows each still results in the familiar maximum payway count of 117,649, The highest-paying diamond symbol has a small payout for two matching symbols, whilst all other winning combinations require at least three symbols on adjacent reels starting from the left.
Mystery Symbols
Denoted by huge question mark blocks, mystery symbols can appear on all reels during both the base game and the bonus round. At the end of each spin, all mystery symbols will simultaneously transform into a single randomly selected paying symbol.
Wild & Star Symbols
Any star symbols that land in view will activate a win multiplier. All visible multipliers will multiply each other before being applied to your winnings, resulting in a maximum multiplier of 729x. The star is also wild and can appear on all six reels. Standard wild symbols can only appear on reels two, three, four, and five.
Euphoria Spin
The Euphoria Modifier can trigger randomly on any base game spin. This feature guarantees that two or more star symbols will land in view during the initial symbol drop of the current game round.
Max Megaways
On any base game spin, the text ‘MAX MEGAWAYS’ may appear in large font on top of the main reel set. When this occurs, all six reels are guaranteed to land with the maximum of seven segments each. Occasionally, the Max Megaways modifier can trigger simultaneously as the Euphoria Spin modifier.
Euphoria Megaways Slot Bonus Features
There are two free spin modes available in Euphoria Megaways – normal and super. In both cases, the number of spins awarded is determined by the number of triggering scatter symbols; 8, 10, 12, or 14 spins are awarded for three, four, five, or six scatter symbols, respectively. The super mode is only triggered when one of the triggering symbols is a special red scatter.
Free Spins & Super Free Spins
In this mode, all star symbols that land on the playfield will be stored in a meter shown above each reel. The first star symbol will activate a 2x multiplier, whilst a second star will increase this to 3x. The total round multiplier is displayed in the top-right corner of the screen. If a single star lands on all six reels during the same bonus round, three spins will be added to your remaining total.
Curiously, the paytable does not explain what the technical benefits of the super mode are – it merely states that the super free spins award even larger payouts. I have to be honest – I didn’t really notice any advantage during most of my tests of the two modes. Did I miss something?

Without knowing exactly what effect the super spins have on your odds of winning a big prize, it’s tough to make any recommendations as to whether they are worth the extra money. As a result, I would recommend caution before splashing out on the super bonus in this game – my results seemed just as good in the normal free spins!

This is one of the more interesting Megaways games I’ve seen recently and includes many features that make this a relatively unique package overall. That said, this definitely makes it onto the highly recommended pile here at team demoslot.
