Fire Joker Demo Slot (Play'n Go) Slot Demo & Review

The Fire Joker online slot was one of Play’N’Go first forays into the classic slots market. The game uses the traditional 3×3 layout but adds many features and modifiers to spice things up. This is a good job too, as the 96% RTP is bang on average, and the five pay lines would normally mean that you see endless dead spins between wins. Play’N’Go’ s setup increases the probability of hitting a win on each spin to almost 25%. The maximum win is stated as being 800x your bet.

Hitting a full screen of the same symbol triggers a wheel of multipliers feature, and the “Respin of Fire” can trigger randomly when you have a losing spin which is very close to a big win. If you are lucky, this modifier will create the big win you were hoping for. Unfortunately, there is no free spins or other bonus game, though these two mods do make up for this omission somewhat.

Fire Joker Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols

Paytable For Fire Joker Slot

The theme of the Fire Joker slot game is best described just as a classic slot – the symbols on the reels are fruits, stars, and joker symbols – reminiscent of the old games you would find in Las Vegas which had a huge handle to pull each time you wanted to spin the reels. The graphics are massively improved over those older games, and the soundtrack is quite funky with little effects that come in each time you hit a winning combination. I found that the soundtrack seriously improved my enjoyment of playing this Fire Joker video slot, and that is quite unusual in my experience; Nice work Play’N’Go!

Heading over to the paytable, the modifiers are explained before you get to the symbols themselves – we are going to discuss those later and concentrate on the symbols first. The joker acts as a wild, substituting for every other symbol in the game. It also has its own payout of 80x your line stake. If you are playing the minimum bet of €0.05, for example, a full line of three joker symbols will pay €0.80, as you are only betting €0.01 per payline. The joker is by far the best symbol in this game – the next highest winning combination is a line of lucky sevens, which only pays 25x your line bet. Three stars pays 20x, three bars pay 15x, and after that you are down to the fruit symbols which pay between 4x to 7x your line bet. Like most classic slots, the lowest possible winning combination is a three-of-a-kind of X symbols – this returns just 2x your line bet in Fire Joker online slot.

Choosing your stake in Fire Joker is done by choosing a value between €0.05 and €100.00. This effectively means that you are betting between €0.01 per line, and €20.00 per line. It’s a shame that Play’N’Go chose not to make this clearer when setting your bet on the stake selection page.

On the other hand, you are forced to play all five lines anyway, so perhaps the company decided it wasn’t necessary to explain this. The reason I feel it is important is that wins are awarded based on the amount you have wagered per payline – when this is not explained as you choose your stake, I can imagine some players being confused when they win one fifth of what they are expecting after looking at the paytable.

Base Game & Modifiers

Play With 3 Reels, 5 Paylines, And Win Up To 800x Your Stake In Play'n Go's Fire Joker Online Slot

Fire Joker video slot is played on the classic 3×3 reel area with five paylines arranged in a typical configuration – the top, middle, and bottom rows are the first three paylines, whilst the final two are diagonals from the top left to the bottom right, and the bottom left to the top right. No surprises here. The real action in Fire Joker comes from the modifiers we mentioned earlier:

Respin Of Fire Feature

When two reels land with matching symbols yet you do not achieve any wins, the re-spin of fire feature will activate. This gives you a second chance of hitting the win that you almost achieved. This feels like a great feature, because when I have played classic slots in the past, I can’t even count the number of times I said to myself “If only that reel had landed as well….”. Play’N’Go obviously had the same experience whilst playing classic slots, so included this feature as a way of gifting players the win they were so close to achieving.

The Re-spin of Fire will not always land with the symbols that you need unfortunately – it is simply a second chance to hit a big win. When a full stack of the symbol you need does drop into place however, you will immediately rank Fire Joker above most other classic slots you have played,

Fire Joker Slot Bonus Feature

Random Modifiers Can Trigger Whilst Playing Fire Joker Video Slot

There aren’t any real bonus rounds in the Fire Joker video slot unfortunately, but I decided to include this feature as a bonus round because it does take you away from the regular reels briefly to a different screen where multipliers can be awarded. In my mind, this makes it different from a typical modifier which takes place on the base game screen.

Wheel Of Multipliers Feature

If you manage to hit a full screen of identical symbols, then you will trigger the Wheel of Multipliers feature. This can increase your win by up to 10x – a full screen of joker symbols means you will win 800x your stake on all five paylines. This effectively awards 800x your total stake, which is the games maximum payout or jackpot.

Fire Joker Slot Review Final Thoughts

I’m not usually a fan of these types of classic slots, but Fire Joker does everything right and adds features which make playing this type of game much more fun and exciting in my opinion. Play’N’Go did a great job with their Fire Joker slot game, and I think it is every bit as fun and addictive as a five-reel game.
