That’s not what Pragmatic Play is talking about with their new Fish Eye slot, however… in fact, I’m really not sure what the developer is getting at with this one! It looks to be an Ancient Egypt-style machine, and a quick Google revealed that the Eye of Horus is, in fact, a depiction of a fish eye inspired by the biblical story involving five fishes. I can’t quite put my finger on which game Pragmatic Play has used as the basis for this machine, but I definitely feel as if I’ve seen all of the included features before. The ‘money symbols’, represented by various fish, are straight out of the Big Bass Bonanza series of slots – that much is for certain. There’s a new twist this time, however, as hitting four money symbols anywhere on the playfield will award their labelled values, multiplied by a value dependent on the number of triggering symbols. The main free spin bonus round includes a couple of additional symbols which can award cash prizes or remove low-value symbols from the reels. Fish Eye Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
I can’t deny that I have become tired of the overwhelming influx of fishing-themed games in recent months, and I’m not sure that Fish Eye is a step in the right direction. Pragmatic Play has been one of the most prolific creators of these slots, and it’s not just their Big Bass Bonanza games either – they recently started another fishing franchise named Fishin’ Reels, too, and let’s not forget about the dozens of games from other developers as well… It’s been getting so bad that I’m almost craving more Egyptian Slots at times, and that category has been done to death at this point! To be fair, Fish Eye seems much more interesting than just another typical fishing game, and the 10,000x jackpot is also higher than average.
It’s easy to get too caught up in what a slot machine looks like when the truth of the matter is that most of us don’t really care as long as it pays well. Thankfully, there’s plenty to like about the paytable offered in Fish Eye! The Scarab is the highest-paying symbol with a payout of 200x the bet placed for a full payline of five of a kind, followed by the Bird, which pays 100x for all five symbols. A full payline of Cats will add 50x your stake back to your balance, along with the Eye of Ra, which shares the same 50x payout. The bottom half of the paytable consists of five royal symbols with payouts ranging between 5x and 10x for a complete payline. The fish money symbols are not mentioned on the paytable, but each one has a value associated with it that is written directly on the symbol.
The betting range offered here is even more comprehensive than usual for Pragmatic Play, with a minimum bet of €0.10 and a maximum of €250.00 per spin. Enabling the bonus bet feature will increase these amounts by 50%.
Fish Eye Slot Base Game & Modifiers
Fish Eye is a ten-payline slot machine that utilises a standard 5×3 reel set. All winning combinations require at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the left. Above the reel set, you’ll notice a line of 15 fish – these are related to the money symbols as detailed below:
Money Symbol
Fish can appear as single symbols and stacks on all five base game reels. Each fish symbol takes on a random monetary value of between 0.1x and 100x the bet placed at the beginning of each spin.
In the base game only, hitting four or more of these fish money symbols simultaneously will award the sum of the prizes shown, multiplied by a factor determined by the number of symbols. The minimum of four fish will receive no multiplier, whilst a full screen of 15 fish will have their prizes multiplied by 2,000x.
Ante Bet
The ante bet option will increase the size of your wager in return for increased odds of triggering the free spins feature. The paytable does not specify the exact increase in odds, but it does mention that the game’s RTP is the same irrespective of whether the option is enabled or not.
Fish Eye Slot Bonus Features
There is just one significant bonus round on Pragmatic Play’s Fish Eye, and Hitting three, four, or five scatter symbols will trigger 10, 15, or 20 free spins, respectively.
Free Spins
In this mode, the values assigned to the fish money symbols are significantly higher than during the base game. The minimum value per fish increases from 0.1x to 2x, whilst the maximum is boosted from 100x to 1,000x.
Two additional symbols appear on the reels during the bonus round. The first is the Collector symbol, which will collect the value of any fish money symbols currently visible. For every fourth Collector symbol that lands on the reels, ten free spins will be added to your remaining total.
Secondly, the new Remover symbol will remove the lowest possible value from the list of awards that can be assigned to the fish money symbols. The game will award one additional free spin for a single Remover symbol or three spins for two.
Bonus Buy
The bonus buy option allows you to instantly trigger a set of free spins directly from the base game at 100x the cost of the normal price per spin. The number of triggering scatters is determined randomly each time the feature is used.

Fish Eye Slot Review Final Thoughts
I like the changes that have been made to this game compared to other slots with similar feature sets. The ability to win the value of the fish money symbols from the base game, complete with huge multipliers, makes it much more fun between bonus rounds. Throw in the 10,000x jackpot, and you’ve got a great online slot that is more than worthy of recommendation.
