Floridaman Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
AvatarUX has recently released some other titles that do not feature the excellent PopWins mechanic. These include Worms of Valor, a title themed on an all-time classic video game, and DonKey & The GOATS, a boxing-themed slot game offering up to 117,649 win ways and a 20,000x the stake top prize. Probably the best of them all, so far, however, is the Nugget slot, which could give you spins of the reels with up to 531,441 ways to win! Now, that’s some serious potential to land a winning combo.
You won’t find as many win lines on the Floridaman slot, but it does offer up to 46,656, so you can’t complain too much. As for the symbols that can land across them and the payouts you can land, Three Postcards share a top max win of 4x the stake when six of either line up across successive reels. The Leopard, Flamingo, and Seal also share the prize, this time of 3x, while all the Playing Cards share a return of 2x. Aiding symbol combinations along the way is a Wild symbol, which substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter.
The betting range on Floridaman is fairly standard for an AvatarUX slot, with the minimum price to play starting from just €0.20, whilst the max stake on the game reaches €100 a spin.
Floridaman Slot Base Game & Modifiers
The Floridaman slot features six reels and three rows, but directly above the main playing grid, there’s also a horizontal reel that can land the symbols required to complete winning combinations. As standard, that reel configuration delivers 2,304 ways to win, but different symbols and modes, as you’ll find out later, can let you play with up to 46,656 win ways.
Forming wins involves lining up three or more matching symbols on consecutive reels from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. As there is a cascading reels mechanic, all winning symbols disappear so that new ones can drop in from above. If further combos are created following a cascade, the same happens again until no new wins are formed.
Zap Reel
The official name for the horizontal reel above the main reels is the Zap Reel, which we’ve seen featured in a few AvatarUX slots. Aside from its middle two positions, this reel can land regular symbols that apply to combinations created on the main reels and multiplier symbols that apply their values to those wins.
Mystery Splits
On any spin during the base game or the free spins bonus, random reel positions can split and expand the reel they land on by two or three positions. All symbols in those new positions transform into the same type.
Floridaman Attack
This feature randomly transforms a number of high-value regular symbols into FloridaMan Wilds. When this occurs during the base game, those symbols lock in place for a respin of all remaining positions. If a FloridaMan wild does not create a winning combination, it is added to the horizontal reel’s two middle positions (Jail).
Jailed Wilds
Any FloridaMan Wilds collected during the base game can be released onto the reels randomly on any given spin.
Floridaman Slot Bonus Features
The main bonus game on the FloridaMan slot is a free spins bonus, which triggers whenever three or more scatter symbols land anywhere in view.
Free Spins Feature
Once triggered, you have two options. You can choose to spin a wheel that guarantees a minimum number of free spins with up to a certain number of ways to win. Alternatively, you can gamble on another wheel to increase the minimum spins and ways to win on the previous wheel. Just note losing the gamble will forfeit the free spins bonus.
As the free spins bonus plays out, all collected wilds in the Jail on the horizontal reel are saved until the last spin, when they’re all released onto the reels. It’s also possible for a Swamp Fever feature to trigger that gives you an additional two free spins and increases the possibility of the FloridaMan Attack feature triggering.
Xpress Bonus Buy
You’re spoilt for choice if you can access the bonus buy feature in FloridaMan, with six different options to consider:
- Ante Bet: For 1.25x your current bet, you can spin the reels with double the chance of triggering the free spins bonus game.
- Standard Bonus: For 50x, you can purchase at least 8 free spins with up to 6,400 ways to win or gamble for more.
- Bonus Plus: For 100x, you can purchase at least 10 free spins with up to 10,000 ways to win or gamble for more.
- Bonus Premium: For 150x, you can purchase at least 12 free spins with up to 20,736 ways to win or gamble for more.
- Bonus Ultra: For 200x, you can purchase at least 14 free spins with up to 32,400 ways to win or gamble for more.

Floridaman Slot Review Final Thoughts
While I have had a ton of fun playing AvatarUX’s PopWins slots over the years, I’m so happy we’re starting to see what else the developer is capable of. Personally, I think this is the best of the non-popping slots to date simply because there are a ton of features, good winning potential, and it has entertaining gameplay.
