Fu 1ok Ways Gold Slot (Reelplay) Slot Demo & Review

I suspect that Reelplay didn’t intend for the name of this slot to generate quite as much amusement as it does for me. Am I the only one who looks at FU 10k Ways and has a little chuckle to themselves? Ah, I don’t know; it definitely tickles me, though. The number 10,000 comes into play many times when looking at the vital statistics of this game – there are up to 10,000 pay ways, the maximum win is 10,000x your bet, the biggest jackpot is also worth 10,000x, and even the RTP is 10,000%!… Yeah, perhaps one day, in our wildest dreams! Sorry, the actual RTP is 96.20%, but it sure would be nice if it were 10,000%!

The feature set of Fu 10K Ways seems relatively standard to me; there is a Wild Lion symbol which only appears on the horizontal row at the top of the reel set (a feature that was no doubt inspired by Megaways slots). The main feature is labelled “bonus re-spins” and requires at least six scatter symbols to trigger. More scatters will give you a better chance of hitting the game’s biggest prizes, including the five jackpots that range between 10x and 10,000x your bet. Luckily, the bonus re-spin feature is designed to help you collect additional scatters; we’ll give you the full details in the bonus round section below.

If you haven’t been offended by the title of this game, then why not give our free demo slot Fu 10K Ways, a few spins below?

Fu 10k Ways Slot Paytable
Fu 10k Ways slot Paytable

We have reviewed several Far Eastern-themed slots here at Demoslot, but this game feels quite different from all of those other releases. I would say that Fu 10K Ways has a distinctly Chinese feel to it, much like Caishen’s Temple, Dancing Drums Prosperity, and Eastern Emeralds Megaways. China is possibly the most popular country for slot developers creating games inspired by the Far East. My question would be, why is this? There are so many other Asian countries with fascinating cultures and relatively unknown societies, so can’t we have a few more games that take inspiration from these states rather than falling back on the most obvious choice – China? I have nothing against China; of course, I feel as if developers get a little bit lazy when creating these Far-Eastern-themed online slots. Give Japan and Thailand some love, would you?!

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at the paytable and see whether Fu 10K Ways has anything special to offer here! I feel like I will struggle with these symbols a bit, unfortunately; the highest-paying symbols look like a pair of Talisman, paying 100x your bet for a full pay way of six-of-a-kind. These are definitely an outlier, however, as the second-placed symbol is a pair of cymbals with a payout of just 5x your bet for all six of those symbols. The drum will pay you 2.5x your bet for a full pay way, whilst the Chinese Lantern is worth 2x for each combination of six-of-a-kind. The rest of the paytable consists of lower-paying royal symbols worth between 1.2x and 0.5x for full pay ways of six-of-a-kind.

The betting range starts at €0.20 per spin and maxes out at €12.00. There are only ten more options between these two extremes, but as the maximum bet is relatively low, this shouldn’t be a major issue for most players.

Base Game & Modifiers

Fu 10k Ways Slot Base Game
Fu 10k Ways slot base game

The base game of Fu 10K Ways shares many mechanics with Megaways games, as the main reel set has a 6×4 configuration in addition to an extra horizontal row placed above reels two through five at the top of the screen. You’ll need at least three matching symbols starting from the left to bag yourself some winnings in this game, but six matching symbols are required to score the biggest prizes.

Wild Lions

The top row is especially important in this game, as it is the only place where a wild symbol can land. The wild symbol is a lion, and if you can land several of them on a single spin, they will help immensely when it comes to winning on a large number of pay ways simultaneously.

Fu 10k Ways Slot Bonus Features

The bonus re-spin feature will be triggered if six or more scatter symbols land during the base game. This three-spin feature works quite differently from other three-spin bonuses you may have seen in other online slots.

Bonus Respins Feature

The aim of the bonus re-spins feature is to collect as many scatter symbols as possible. You already have six scatters which triggered the feature, and these will become sticky and locked in place for the duration of the bonus round. Your three lives will be reset back to three each time another scatter symbol lands on the reels.

If you manage to fill the screen with scatter symbols or, much more likely, run out of lives, the feature will end. The various jackpot prizes can be awarded only once per feature, but you can hit more than one of them in a single bonus round.

The MINI bonus is worth 10x your bet, whilst the MINOR pays 50x, the MAJOR pays 250x, the GRAND is worth 2,000x your current bet, and, finally, the “10K bonus” will immediately boost your winnings up to the maximum payout level of 10,000x your stake.

Any symbols which do not award a jackpot prize will instead pay a multiple of the current stake of between 1x and 100x.

Fu 10k Ways Slot Review Final Thoughts

I enjoyed playing Fu 10K Wins, but I can’t help but feel that the Bonus Re-Spins Feature isn’t enough to keep players interested over the long term. If the game also offered a regular free spin feature with multipliers, I feel that that would help significantly with the game’s long-term appeal. As it stands, I’d give this one a few spins, but don’t be surprised if you quickly grow tired of the game.
