The story of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is, in many ways, analogous to the modern mad scientist trope. There are many similarities between this tale and that of Frankenstein, and the two have inspired countless contemporary popular culture works, perhaps most notably including The Incredible Hulk. Many elements of those three tales can be found in online slots such as Hacksaw Gaming’s awesome Rotten, Stakelogic’s Freaky Friday, and the Dr Watts Up slots from Microgaming. I couldn’t think of another Megaways example off the top of my head, but I’m sure that at least a couple will be out there by now. The bottom line? There isn’t much new to see here, but it is an excellently presented game with lots of potential to award big wins.
The paytable offered in this game is slightly different from those of a typical Megaways game, as there isn’t one special high-paying symbol here. Instead, both depictions of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde share the top spot of the table, both of which have a return of 8x the total bet for a complete payway of six of a kind. The reel setup used in the base game of this slot should be immediately familiar to anybody who has played slots during the last five years.
