Gladiator Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The base theme of this game surrounds the obvious gladiator topic, although it utilises the highly popular film from 2000 to do so. While there aren’t many others that utilise this specific film for their basis, there are plenty of other games that take various movies or TV series and implement them into their setup. You could play Game of Thrones 243 Ways from Microgaming, for example. Within the Gladiator slot game, you’ll get to see a still of the movie in the background, depicting Russell Crowe in his titular role. Soundtrack-wise, it does fall a little short, as Playtech has only added basic noises to it. Yet the graphics are pretty good for a slot released in 2008.
Speaking of which, you will see a selection of symbols appearing on the five reels of the game. These start out with the standard playing card additions, which run from the minimum of 9 and increase up to the A. These ones represent the slot’s lowest paying symbol inclusions. Characters from the film then make up the remaining symbols, starting with Proximo and Juba. There is also the addition of Gracchus, who is followed by the character of Lucilla. Playtech has really nicely brought this film to life in the form of a slot game, so fans of the movie will undoubtedly find this to be an appealing title to play, too.
