The only time that I can ever remember spotting the word gluttony in an online slot previously was, perhaps unsurprisingly, another Nolimit City title – Tombstone RIP. Whilst in that game, it was viewed as a sin worthy of hanging, in this game, it is a definite act to be celebrated! Calculating your payouts in Gluttony can be a tad confusing at first – in fact, I’d suggest just letting the game do it for you and forget all about working anything out for yourself. Fortunately, this is a developer we can trust, so I don’t see that as being a huge problem! The base payouts are as follows: Pizza pays 10x the bet for a full payway of five of a kind, whilst the hamburger is worth 6x, the mac’n’cheese is at 4x, the desert will get you 3x, and a pint of beer is the lowest of the bunch (sacrilege!!) at just 2x for all five symbols. As for the low pays, you weren’t expecting any royals were you? Oh no. Blocks of cheese, a plate of veg, sushi, salmon, and, err, another potato and cheese salad act as stand-ins for the traditional ten-through ace symbols you might find in other games, and all of these have scaling payouts ranging between 1.2x and 0.4x from the cheese to the edam salad, respectively.
As for the betting ranges, there are plenty of options – €0.20 is the lowest permitted wager, whilst €100.00 per spin is the highest, and I’m pleased to report that there is no shortage of intermediate bets to suit players with a bankroll of every size. Good going NLC!
Base Game & Modifiers
Onto the all-important gameplay mechanics, which begin with a 5×5 playfield spanned by 3,125 payways. That means every possible path from left to right is active for prizes – a double-edged sword really, as it does mean you will be winning especially frequently, but just don’t expect a lot of those wins to amount to much!
Upgrading Symbols
Whenever a winning combination is removed from the reels, the included symbols will be destroyed, and the remaining symbols will tumble down to fill the resulting spaces. When this occurs, any symbol that drops down will double in value – thus, the pizza, usually worth 10x for a payline, is suddenly worth 20x instead!
Gluttony Slot Bonus Features
There are two types of bonus scatter included in Gluttony – the silver and golden bell varieties. Silver bells can only appear on reels two, three, and four. Gold bells can only land on reel three – and no more than one per spin. Free spins can be activated by any combination of three scatter symbols.

Depending on the type of triggering scatters, you’ll receive a slightly different variation on the typical bonus round:

What does all this mean? Three silver scatters will award you eight free spins of ‘Order Up!’, In this mode, every golden bell which lands will add two more free spins and increase the global multiplier by 2x.
The ‘Double Up!’ free spins work in the same way, except now you get ten free spins and a 2x multiplier right from the off – you also have one golden bell in your arsenal, meaning you only need two more to trigger the legendary FEDCON 1 free spins!
Likewise, ‘Quadruple Up!” gives you 12 free spins to start with plus a 4x multiplier – and now only one more golden bell is needed to initiate FEDCON 1.

- Ah, come on…. Does NLC ever let us down? Another well-presented, beautifully drawn, and awesomely mature-themed online slot for the more discerning player.
- You can win some huge prizes – even during the base game – but you’ll need a lot of luck to quadruple up all your symbols first. This is high variance slotting at its most extreme.

- Not sure really, The 1,000x top bonus buy option is completely outrageous, but nobody is forcing you to use it!
