While there’s a lot going on in terms of features and alternate game modes, Gold Horsey Winner kind of falls short for me. For a start, the graphics look extremely dated, which is something I cannot forgive from a modern slot. Secondly, while it could be my racehorse betting luck coming to bite me once again, the second base game mode just chewed through my balance when playing - I think I won 3x once in 20 spins, with the remaining spins all coming up dead. I don’t know; maybe this will appeal to some of you, but I’d rather put my money on countless other slots before this one. I will just add that if you like certain aspects of the game but you're not keen on the theme, there are some alternatives out there you could try.
