I’m sure fans of Elk Studios Nitropolis series will have been massively excited by the recent announcement from the provider that they would be releasing a run of 5 new instalments of the slot over the coming months. Having been exiled by SGt Nitro Wolf from the city of Nitropolis, the four clan members have been training for war and plotting a scheme to return and reclaim the territory. As a result, each of these characters will have a game released which focuses on each of them in turn, prior to the release of Nitropolis 5, which is the culmination of this mini-series and the final battle. The Nitropolis series has been one of the provider's most successful creations, and that is built upon here in this most recent version. As ever, the standard gameplay is enthralling; there’s always something to look out for, and it feels like a big hit is always around the corner. That doesn’t often materialise, but in fairness, this game did seem to be fairly generous with sizeable wins during testing. The re-vamped super bonus is also a good addition and seems to pack plenty of potential that seems more achievable than in the past. I did see a 5,000x coin scroll past a few times! The RTP level is slightly low, and the maximum win halved compared to Nitropolis 4, but overall, it is a brilliant game, and I look forward to seeing what the other upcoming games in this series will have to offer. To conclude, the idea of producing a mini-series of games culminating in a big release at the end is excellent, and Elk should be commended for this innovative idea.
