There’s no theme on Hilo; it’s just a betting interface with some buttons and some playing cards. As an initial bet on the first card, the most you can win is 12.61x the stake, which is the return for betting on the same card as the two (lowest) and Ace (highest) to appear next. However, I’m certain that the same bet after playing and winning five or so hands without cashing out will reward better payouts.
As for stakes, these will cater for players of all sized budgets, and you can wager anywhere between a minimum of €0.10 and a maximum of €100.00 per round, which is the same for almost all Spribe Gaming titles you will encounter.
How to Play HiLo
Playing Hilo is about as easy as it gets, even by Spribe Gaming’s standards. The first thing to do is use the button directly below the cards to randomise the starting card until you’re happy. You can only do this before the first card, by the way. Next, decide on your stake and click ‘Bet’. You’re given the odds and payout you’ll receive for ‘The Same or Lower’ or ‘The Same or Higher’, and you choose the option you think will win. After a winning guess, you can either cash out what you’ve won or continue playing. As soon as you lose, you sacrifice everything won from your previous cards drawn.
