It’s hard to see what Endorphina is trying to do here with Hitslot 2022 – I think, but bear in mind that this is just speculation – that they are reimagining an early slot machine in a 2022 style. Hit Slot 2022 Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
I’ve stopped comparing fruit-based slots, generally speaking, because there are so many of them, and it’s impossible to separate one from another. That’s even more the case here – there are no locked reels feature like with NetEnt’s TwinSpin, but I guess, on the other hand, you do get a little bit more here than with games such as mFortune’s “Fruit Machine”. There are games such as Fruitoids by Yggdrasil and Fruits by Nolimit City, but those are trying to do something very different to Hitslot 2022. This game isn’t taking the concept of an old fruit machine and trying to bring it into the future; as such, it’s just putting a pretty coat of paint on a game that could have been released in 2002… whether that’s a good or a bad thing, I will leave up to you.
And so we have the paytable. I had to get my calculator out for this one, as the game uses 22 fixed pay lines and a minimum bet of a penny a line, meaning that calculating the multiple of stake win numbers for each of the items on the paytable wasn’t exactly straightforward. The top symbol, except the scattered star, is the wild, which will pay you 91.9x your stake for a full line of five-of-a-kind. On the plus side, if you do happen to hit a full line of wilds, it’s likely to be one of several because they are stacked on every reel. That’s the only big hit you’re going to find here, I’m afraid – the melon is next with a return of 18x for five-of-a-kind, then the grapes and melon at 9x, and the orange, lemon, and cherry at 4.5x. The Scattered Star is where the jackpot hides, paying 500x your stake for all five. I guess that 2,022x maximum win that was spoken of must be for a full screen of wilds, and the math works out – 22 lines at 91.9x each will give you 2,022x your bet. Good luck with that.
The only interesting part about the betting selection system here is the unusual 0.22 increment between wager amounts. At the minimum coin value, you can bet between €0.22 and €2.20 per spin, whilst going up to the top; you can bet €22.00 to €220.00 per spin. I hope you have a mammoth bankroll if you intend to try that!
Base Game & Modifiers
Well, this is going to be a short one. Hit Slot 2022, or 2022 Hitslot, as I’ve just spotted it called randomly at one point on the paytable, uses a 5×3 playfield and has 22 fixed paylines. All wins are awarded for hitting three or more consecutive matching symbols from left to right except for the scatter symbols, which pay at any position but do not award a bonus round. Scatter wins can be won at the same time as regular line wins, and when this occurs, the two will be added together before being awarded.
Gamble Feature
If you are the bold type, you can gamble your entire winnings on the turn of a card – a red or black card will appear on the left, and you have four choices from which to choose another card. It’s an all-or-nothing gamble, so there’s no opportunity to stash some of your winnings in case it all goes wrong – I got up to some staggering numbers before picking a wrong card when messing with this feature. I can only recommend that you play with caution if you entertain this part of the game.

A straightforward slot can be like a breath of fresh air sometimes, and although this isn’t particularly a style of game that appeals to me, I can imagine there are a large number of players globally that will enjoy spinning the reels on this one.
