Thunderkick’s Hot Potato slot is played over a reel matrix of 7×7 and is classified as a grid slot. The cluster pays mechanic is in charge of dishing out the wins, and landing at least 5 matching symbols adjacent to each other anywhere on the playfield will award its corresponding value from the paytable. Each winning combo formed will cause the symbols involved in that win to explode and be removed from the reels. This activates the cascading reels feature, which drops new symbols from above to fill any spaces that have been left behind.

The last game I reviewed from Thunderkick was their Bones and Bounty slot, which I thoroughly enjoyed, so I did wonder if Hot Potato was also going to be another slot game from the provider that had me spinning the reels longer than I intended to whilst I was reviewing it.
