Hacksaw Gaming has become quite the expert in the horror-themed slot niche, with previous releases like Rotten, Klowns, and Hand of Anubis being popular titles for the provider, so we were excited to see what they had come up with once Hounds of Hell loaded up on our screens and it was apparent this was the route Hacksaw had chosen again.

We were happy to see that the max win was set at 20,000x, with many Hacksaw games hovering around the 10,000x mark, so that was a good start for the slot, with things again looking promising as we discovered the main feature of the game (the Hellhounds) can appear in both the base game and the free spins feature. Once we learned more about the Hellhounds, we were eager to see them in action, and once we realised, like many Hacksaw slots, there are two variations of these symbols, with one being adding symbols and the other being multipliers, we saw the potential in the game and how that 20,000x max was possible.

Hounds of Hell also comes loaded with the usual Hacksaw enhanced betting methods and two versions of the feature to buy, with the super bonus, of course, being the likely key to a jackpot win. Overall, this is a good addition to the developer's portfolio, and although it has a tendency to frustrate at times in the bonus round, it's a game I'll be putting onto my playlist.
