Features? We’ve got nudging huntress wild symbols, which will snap up or down until they fill the entire reel where they first appear before granting a free re-spin. There is a set of scatters on the reels, but they act as multiplier boosters as well as triggering the free spin bonus round, depending on the number that land simultaneously, rather than being used to trigger free spins. Type in “hunter” when searching for online slots, and the first game you will likely run into right now is John Hunter and the Book of Tut, which is just another shameless Book of Ra RIP off and has nothing to do with hunting at all. Buffalo Hunter would be a better example, but the most obvious parallel with this game must be Thunderkick’s title, “The Falcon Huntress”, which is one of my favourite games from that developer. By some strange coincidence, it shares a few similarities with Book of Ra, too, although the expanding symbol feature common to all of those “book” games is active during the base game in The Falcon Huntress, making it feel very different to the endless legion of copycat slots that start with “Book of…”. I’m still waiting for “Clone of Book” slot developers… you’re slacking!
Over to the paytable next, and that Devilish Bear, who I speculated may have killed the vengeful huntress mother, is the highest-paying symbol – I’m taking that as evidence, by the way – and is worth 20x your current stake for a full pay line of five-of-a-kind. The Fox halves this to just 10x for all five, whilst the Eagle is worth just 6x, and the terrifying looking monster named “Moccasins” will pay you 3x your bet for five-of-a-kind. Oh, hold up.. that’s just a pair of boots—silly me. The Canteen and Rabbit Paw are worth 2x and 1x, respectively, for all five symbols, after which the low-paying symbols are represented by Teeth… yup, teeth. Well, it’s certainly more interesting than royals or playing card suits!
You can opt to bet from as little as €0.20 per spin up to €50.00 per round, which is just as insane a bet as ever, although if I ever were going to bet as high as this on an online slot, I would definitely pick one such as this with a low number of paylines.
Base Game & Modifiers
The regular game uses a standard 5×3 playfield, but this doesn’t play quite like your average online slot; first, notice those strange numbers located in between the reels? The game calls these “solid superspinners”, and the numbers are actually multipliers that will affect any winning combination that passes through them.
I love this feature, but what I don’t like is the fact that they reset any time they please – sometimes they will stick around for five spins, only to disappear directly before you hit a five-of-a-kind combination of the highest-paying symbol which would otherwise have been multiplied by 25x.
Features such as this that behave randomly frustrate me – it reminds me of the original Fishin’ Frenzy, where a bell would randomly go off for no reason after a reel stopped spinning for no rhyme or reason. Why not have a triggering symbol? I actually had a bit of a row with my friend who doesn’t play many slots about that particular “Feature”, as I felt sure there must be some logic to why the bell went off, yet it turned out he was right – it was just random.
Huntress Wild Feature
The huntress wild is a full height stacked symbol which will nudge into place whenever it lands slightly out of view at the end of a spin. The huntress wild will award a free re-spin with all visible multipliers guaranteed to stay locked in view, and hitting another huntress wild during your free re-spin will repeat the process.
Huntress Wild Vengeance Slot Bonus Features
Three or more scatter symbols landing in view will trigger a free spin bonus round. The paytable notes that you will win an additional prize of 20x or 100x your bet if you should trigger the feature by hitting four or five scatter symbols, respectively.
Free Spins Feature
During this mode, all of the “solid superspinner” wilds that are visible will become a global multiplier for the duration of your bonus round. Again, this sounds great, but the multiplier is only applied to any wins that result from the Huntress Wild feature, drastically lowering the benefit of the global multiplier.
Gamble Mini Game
Before your free spins session begins, you will be given two choices – accept ten free spins or chase the bear through the woods in the hope of winning additional free spins up to a maximum of 26. This gamble game works similarly to “in-play” betting when playing at a sportsbook – you will see your current number of free spins increasing and can choose to cut your losses at any time and walk away with the current number of spins on your counter. Wait too long, however, and you will lose it all.

This is a reasonable effort, I guess, from Print Studios, but in my opinion, there are far better games that you can try in their existing catalogue of slots. By all means though, try the demo out above for yourself and see what you make of it.
