Hyper Strike Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Fire up Hyper Strike, and you will be greeted by a psychedelic backdrop and a reel set filled with typical fruit machine style symbols. There is a variety of lucky seven symbols, cherries, bells, and bars, similar to the look and feel of NetEnt’s classic slot Twin Spin. The Hyper Strike cash prizes are listed to the left of the reels, which is reminiscent of lots of other recent online slots. Unlike those other games, however, the regular paytable of Hyper Strike still feels quite generous despite the presence of this additional second paytable.
Take the wild symbol, for example; this pays 125x your bet for a complete pay line of five-of-a-kind, whilst many games omit a special payout for their wild symbols these days. The lucky sevens are next, but you’ll need to pay attention to how many are present on each symbol as there are single, double, and triple variants. A complete pay line of any mix of these will pay you 3.25x your bet, whilst a full line of triples pays 37.5x, doubles pay 20x, and singles pay 7.5x your stake. The dollar sign, bell, bar, and cherries make up the lower-paying half of the paytable – no boring royal symbols here!
Wagers are allowed between €0.20 and €60.00 per spin, and changing the currently selected bet will also update both of the game’s paytables – a nice touch. Last up is the return to player percentage, and with this set at a respectable 96.24%, you should, in theory, at least get quite a bit of gameplay for your deposits.
Base Game & Modifiers
Standard gameplay is played on a 5×3 playfield with 20 fixed paylines, and all winning prizes are paid for hitting three or more matching symbols from left to right on a pay line. The two sets of scatter symbols do occasionally act ask blockers, which can be a bit frustrating, especially if you end up with two of each kind yet receive nothing at all! There are no base game modifiers, but we do have a couple of bonus features to discuss:
Hyper Strike Slot Bonus Features
The main feature is a free spin-based bonus round triggered by hitting the free spin scatter symbols on reels two, three, and four. You’ll also receive 1x your bet, although I doubt anybody will be too fussed about that bit!
After the feature is triggered, you will be taken to the prize wheel with segments ranging between ten and thirty free spins and multipliers between 2x and 5x. The bonus can also be retriggered by hitting three more scatters whilst the feature is in play, and you can even trigger the Hyper Strike feature from within the bonus round. Unfortunately, the multiplier will not apply to Hyper Strike winnings, but it’s still great that you can hit it from a free spin!
Hyper Strike Feature
Hit three Hyper Strike scatters, and you will receive just 1x your bet, but things ramp up quickly with payouts of 5x for four, 15x for five, all the way up to a maximum of 2,000x your bet for nine Hyper Strike scatters. I only ever caught five during testing, but they do show up frequently, and I’d guess we will be seeing a few maximum hits from this feature on YouTube in the coming weeks and months.

Hyper Strike is a solid effort from Gameburger. It’s a simple game, but an entertaining one – the prizes feel plenty reasonable, and I even made a big profit whilst I was testing the game, which always leaves me feeling positive about a review! Give this one a try if you can find it.
