This will kick into action when players form a winning combo of symbols across the reels from left to right, with the winning symbols then entering a vortex and being removed from the reels. New symbols will then drop in from above to fill the gaps that have been left behind, presenting further opportunities to win. The good thing about this feature is that as long as you create additional wins, the cascades will continue. However, once you fail to hit something new, you’ll be required to make a fresh spin of the reels.
Ufo Wild Selector
Across the top of the reels you will notice each symbol of the game is present along with a UFO hovering above them. Every press of the start button activates the UFO which will then travel over the symbols and randomly stop on any one of them. I was pleasantly surprised when I played Invaders Megaways™, as I’ll be the first to admit that I have been a little critical of SG Gaming’s Megaways™ titles in the past. However, this is easily the best game that I have played from SG that features Big Time Gaming’s Megaways™ engine without a doubt.
In a niche of slot where things seem to have perhaps gotten a little stale, it was a pleasure to play a game that was unique, fun, and had such a light hearted feel to it. I particularly liked the fact that 5 modifiers are present in the free spins bonus, with each one of these having the capability of producing something worthwhile, although the Alien modifier seems likely to be the one that can produce the largest wins.
