Pros
- The bonus buy is a bargain-busting 28x to buy.
- The Hold & Win feature is still considered a popualr bonus round.
- A full reel multiplying wild can land in the base game on reel 3.
- Mystery symbols can appear transforming into a random symbol from the paytable.
Cons
- The minimum price to play of €0.25 might be too rich for low-rollers.
- It's yet another Hold & Win online slot to add to the 1,000s of others.
Island Desire Slot Review Final Thoughts
As far as Hold & Win slots go, Island Desire will likely tick the boxes of most players, as not only does it include the popular feature as it's main bonus game, but a nudging wild can appear on reel 3 with a multiplier attached, and mystery symbols can also land to aide you in creating winning combos. Furthermore, if you're a bonus buy player, you'll be delighted to see that you can purchase the Hold & Spin round for just 28x, although at such a cheap cost, you can likely guess the outcome of most rounds.
So, with so much going for it, why such a low score? Well, behind all the additional features it's still just a Hold & Win slot, and with there being so many of these games to choose from, it's going to take more than a nudging wild, mystery symbol and cheap bonus buy to bust a score of over a 6, let alone getting anywhere near our good cateogory. You might disagree and think Island Desire is a belter, but for me, a couple of bonus buys in this review were enough for me to make up my mind.
